The Apocalypse Love

The bus.

We were all siting on the bus in silence. The only sound was the occasional sob and the bus running. Glenns driving us trying to Find a safe place to camp out tonight. The silence was so awkward nobody knew what to say. Nobody was even looking at each other. I looked around to see Carol resting her head on Daryl shoulder quietly sobbing, I saw Rick resting his head on michonnes lap, and saw Rossita and Abraham looking out the window. The rest were just looking bored but no one dared to speak. I was resting my head on Carl's shoulder and he had an arm wrapped around my waste, and Judith was I  the seat in front of us sleeping. She looks so cute and peaceful. I've been thinking what would have happened if I was there would I have been able to safe more people or would I have gotten myself killed. I'm just wondering what happened why this happened. So I decided to ask.

" Michonne what did happen back at the camp?" I asked quietly since the bus was very very quiet.

" Okay so everything was fine when you guys left for the run yesterday and everything was going great until that night. I guess some walkers knocked down a fence and no one noticed until this morning. When we woke up we found the camp over run. We tried our best but we couldn't fight them all off. There was way to many of them. We tried our best but that didn't stop the walkers from tearing our camp up like they have done so many times before." Michonne said while stroking ricks hair.

" You tried your best I'm just glad we came back when we did. I'm glad all of you are okay." I said with a small smile. Carl kissed the tip of my head and smiled down at me. Which caused me to blush.

" Your amazing" Carl said holding me tightly.

" Your not so bad yourself." I said with a quiet laugh.

After that we all fell back into the award silence. Until Glenn asked me to come to the front of the bus. I walked up to him and sat in the seat next to him.

" What's up Glenn?" I asked questioning why I was up here.

" I wanted to know if you know anywhere that might be safe up here. Do you know around here well?" Glenn asked.

I looked out the window and found myself I  disbelief. The place we are in right now I know of so well I grew up here. I started to cry.

" Hey are you okay Claire?" Glenn asked worried.

" Yeah I'm fine Glenn I actually know if a place that might be fine for a while." I said slightly laughing still crying.

" Where would that be?" Glenn asked curiously.

" you'll see but now I'm driving ." I said with a smirk with that Glenn got out of the drivers seat and sat down in the back and I drove us to the safe place I have in mind.
