The Apocalypse Love

Meeting Judith

After all the woman left I went to go and find Carl he was with his little sister Judith playing together. They look like they are having a lot of fun so I walked up to them to see if I could join them.

" Hey Judith do you mind if I join the fun."

"Yep you can use this."

She handed me a shovel and a bucket to help her make a sand castle well more like a mud one. Carl started to help both of us with the making of the castle .

He said to me " So did you ever used to build these with your sisters."

" Of course I did... I used to love it."

" Well now that you started to play with Judith she's going to ask you to play every time she sees you."

" I don't see the problem there I don't mind it I would take every chance I got to hang out with my little sisters."

" Well than its a good thing you like kids."

" I guess so."

Judith got up and decided to bring me to her tent to show her all the toys her brother and dad have scavenged for her.

She showed me this doll.

She said " This used to be Carols daughters doll but she died so Carol gave it to me."

" Oh that's sad about Carols daughter"

" Yay  it is but I didn't know her"

" Oh."

" She died before I was born."

" Oh okay.... so do you have a job around here."

" Yeah I do my dad planted a garden a few months ago and I help weed it."

"Oh do you like gardening"

" I guess my favorite part is picking the flowers for my tent so it looks more pretty and doesn't smell bad."

" Could you pick some for me?"

" Sure "

She scurried away and a few minutes later passed me the flowers .

" Thanks Judith there lovely."

" Yeah I know"

She walked away and went back to making her mud castle. Well I think she likes me. Little kids usually do. I'm glad she doesn't hate me it would such if she did because she is Carl's sister .
