Sage's POV

"Here..." I handed her a glass of water.

I brought her to my house. I was really happy that she accepted my offer to come with me.

She took the glass and put it on the table. We've just arrived here in my house a while ago.

"I-Ikaw lang ba yung nakatira dito?" She asked.

"Yes ." I answered.

She looked a round like she was searching for something.

"Ang ganda nung bahay mo. Alam mo mas masaya kung may kasama ka, lalo na pamilya mo." She said.

I went in front of her and took a seat on my couch.

"Are you saying that I'm lonely because I live alone?" I asked back.

"Oo. Wala ka kasing kasama e."

I laughed a bit.

"Well my mom is always out of town. She's busy handling our business. I don't have any siblings and my dad passed away five years ago." I explained.

"Ahh okay. Sorry pala."

"It's okay, I just got used to being alone. Sometimes I sleep in my office when I have a lot of work. "

"I don't have any maids here. I only have my body guards outside and inside my house. " I added.

She stood up and went to me.

"Uhm late na pala. Baka kasi hanapin ako ng mga kaibigan ko. Kailangan ko na ring umuwi." She said.

I stood up and faced her.

"You should stay. I'll drive you home tomorrow morning. If that's okay?" I suggested.

She looked around and faced me again.

"Look, I'm not gonna do anything to you. You're safe here." I added.

"S-Sige. " She answered shortly.

I smiled at her. I don't really smile often but I really like her a lot.

"Great, I'll show you the guest room." I said.

I escorted her to the guest room in front of my room. I opened the door and showed her inside.

"W-wow. Ang laki ng kwarto." She said while looking around.

"I'll leave you here. But if you need anything, my room is just in front of yours. Feel at home." I said.

She smiled and nodded at me.

"Thank you." She said.

I went to the door and I was about to leave when she spoke again.

"Wait lang!"

I turned my back to face her.

"Ano palang pangalan mo?" She asked.

I smiled at her.

"I'm Sage. Sage Cohen." I said.

She lend her hand in front of me. I took her hands and shook it.

"I'm Rachel." She said.

"It's nice to meet you, Rachel." I said.

"Nice meeting you rin, thank you ulit ah. Ang bait bait mo sakin."

I smirked.

You're only saying that because you haven't seen my true color. I bet you'll leave me like everyone did.
