Sage's POV

They just transferred Rachel in the private room. I went outside and sat on the chair while they're still checking up on her.

I took out the little box that Hannah gave me. It's Rachel's wedding gift for me.

I opened the box and saw a printed picture of her ultrasound. I can't help but to smile when I saw our baby. It's like a seed or a peanut size.

I noticed that there's a letter behind the picture. It's a handwritten letter from Rachel.

Sage,

I'm feeling so nervous and excited at the same time while I'm writing this letter. I don't even know how I should feel right now. Maybe I'm just scared on how you would react?

I was always thought to save myself until marriage. To have sex after marriage and to have kinds after marriage. But everything changed when I met you.

You're different, Sage. You don't know how much you had me happy. Kahit ilang beses mo kasing sabihin na ako yung mas nagpapasaya sayo, hindi e. Ikaw talaga yung nagparamdam na sobrang espesyal ko.

I don't have any plans to get pregnant before marriage. But whenever I look at this ultrasound picture of our baby, I though of "what if Sage and I waited longer? Would it be the same if we didn't have a baby for now?"

No, our relationship  just got even way better. Whenever I see the picture of our baby, I'm starting to think that there's nothing more better than this.

I didn't know how to tell you this, Sage. But I know you will love our baby. I never thought I could ever love anyone than you haha. Our baby just took all my love. I can't believe we're gonna be parents.

I can already feel some tears on my eyes.

I love you and our baby, Rachel. I love the two of you more than anything.

The doctor went out of Rachel's room. I stood up to face her.

"Doc, how's my fiance?" I asked.

"She's okay, for now. But I'm sad to say that's she's delicate in her pregnancy. She had a vaginal bleeding. Since it's her first time being pregnant, that's also one factor that putted her at risk."

"But the baby is gonna be okay, right?" I asked.

"Yes, we just need to make sure that Ms. Rachel takes her vitamins and eat a lot of healthy foods. And always have a hard time getting up in bed, experience sever abdominal pain or cramps. Avoid anything that will trigger her stress. Just make sure she's always safe and cautious about her movements." She added.

I nodded.

"I'll take care of her, Doc. Thank you so much." I said.

She just nodded and left. I took a deep sigh and opened the door. Rachel is awake, she's sitting on her bed. I made sure I locked the door before walking towards her.

"Rachel..." I called.

She looked at me with no expression. Her eyes are still red from crying.

I pulled the chair on her side and I sat down. I putted the box on her side. I reached out for her hand and kissed the back of it.

"I'm really really sorry, Rachel. I never wanted this to get out of hand. Please Rachel, tell me what do you want me to do?" I said with a serious tone.

She looked away from me.

"Rachel please, talk to me. You can't leave me, you're carrying my baby too. Rachel please just talk to me..." I pleaded.

I held her hands tightly.

"If you're wondering how I reacted when I found out that you were pregnant, I was so happy Rachel. I've never been excited and happy to meet our baby. You know what, I'm scared, I-I don't know how to be a dad. "

"But one thing is for sure, I'm gonna protect our baby. And I'm gonna love our baby the way I love you, Rachel. "

He tears started to fall. She's still looking away from me. I stood up and sat beside her. I hugged her kissed her head.

"Please, Rachel. Forgive me. I'll do anything for you to forgive me." I said.

"H-Hihintayin lang natin na manganak ako....t-tapos saka tayo magdedesisyon kung kanino maiiwan yung bata."

I stopped for a while because of what she said. I unwrapped my arms around to face her.

"Y-You can't do that Rachel. You can't do that to me!"

She started to cry again.

"H-Hindi ko na alam gagawin ko Sage! Ayoko nang magalit. Ayoko na ring umiyak. Pagod na pagod nako..."

"Ayoko rin namang ilayo sayo yung baby natin. Ayokong maranasan niya yung naranasan ko na mawalan ng magulang habang lumalaki..."

"Sage maniwala ka, gusto ko pa ring magkaroon tayo ng buong pamilya. Pero ang hirap hirap dahil kapag nakikita kita, naalala ko nanaman yung ginawa mo!"

"A-Ang sama sama mo....ang sama sama mo!"

She started to throw a fit on my chest slowly. I didn't move away, I just let her did that.

"H-Hindi ko alam na ganyang klase kang tao! H-Hinid ko alam na magagawa mo yung ganyang bagay!"

She stopped and held my arms tightly.

"Keep going. Hurt me all you want, Kill me of you want." I said.

"I can't live without you anyways. And I can't take our baby away from you. So just kill me, Rachel." I added

"Sana nga ganon kadali, Sage! " She shouted.

"P-Pero hindi ko magagawa yon sayo Sage dahil mahal kita at mahal ko yung anak natin!"

I wiped her tears off her cheeks. I held her nape and glued our forehead.

"I-I always wanted a complete family Sage. B-because I never had one when I was growing up. My parents abused me and I decided to runaway." Rachel said.

"I wanted to have a revenger or hurt them back but I can't, they're my parents."

"Hindi ko na alam anong mararamdaman ko ngayon. H-Hindi ko makakalimutan ginawa mo at hindi rin kita mapapatawad ng ganon kadali."

"P-Pero kapag inaalala ko na magkakaanak na tayo, wala na akong mahihiling pa e. Ikaw at yung baby yung pamilya ko. "

My tears started to fall.

I held Rachel's chin up and started to kiss her on her lips.

"I'm not expecting you to forgive me Rachel, but please, let's start over for our baby. I'm always gonna be here for the two of you. " I said between our kiss.

"Please, can we start over again? For our family?" I asked again.

She nodded as her answer.

I went ahead and kissed her again on her lips.
