Sage's POV

I just woke up. As much as I want to stay home, I need to attend the meeting I cancelled yesterday.

Last night was the best so far. I thought Rachel was gonna continue to ignore me, but she didn't.

*Flashback*

I went out of the shower. I saw Rachel fixing her pillows and her comforter on the couch.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Dito nalang ako matutulog. H-Hindi kasi ako sanay na katabi ka. Tsaka hindi pa naman tayo kasal para magtabi sa kama." She said.

What the hell is she talking about? I slept with other girls before even if we're not married.

Is this how she wants to punish me?

"Look, I don't want you to feel uncomfortable. Just sleep on the bed. I'm not gonna do anything to you, don't worry." I said to her.

She shook her head.

"Hindi na, ayos lang talaga ako rito. "

I went to the sofa and grabbed her arm to pull her up.

"Just sleep on the bed. I'm gonna sleep here." I said.

"Pero Sage---"

"Just go. I'll be fine here." I insisted.

I took off my hands of her. She didn't argue with me anymore. She went back to my bed and sat there.

I went to the light switch to turn off the lights. Only the lamp shade beside my bed was open.

I went to the bed and laid there. It's so uncomfortable laying here. I can't believe I'm sleeping on the couch in my own bedroom.

I forgot, I can't sleep with any lights on. I got up to to tell Rachel---

She's already sleeping. I walked towards the bed. I took the comforter and made sure to tuck her in.

"Good night Rachel." I said.

As much as I wanted to take this advantage and kiss her, I can't. I want to respect Rachel.

*End of flashback*

I slowly got up from the sofa. My back hurts like hell. This couch is so hard. I think I need to get a new comfortable couch to sleep in.

I went ahead to look at Rachel---

"Rachel?"

Fuck. She's not on my bed.

"Rachel---"

I was about to ran to my door when it opened. Rachel went inside holding a tray.

"Good morning." She said with a smile.

She went towards the bed and put the tray on top. There's a lot of food.

"Sage, maupo ka rito." She said while tapping her side on the bed.

Without any hesitation, I went to the bed and sat besides her.

"I-I thought you runaway." I said.

"Bakit ko naman gagawin yun? E may kasunduan tayo. Tsaka isa pa, gusto kong ipagluto ka palagi. Wala rin kasi akong magawa rito e."
