Sage's POV

I'm currently fixing my tie right now. I'm looking at Rachel. She's sitting outside the balcony. When I woke up this morning, she was already there.

She took off the ring again. I saw it on top of the side table.

I got my phone and my wallet and went to her.

"Rachel." I called.

She stayed still looking nowhere. She didn't even faced me.

I went in front of her and went down. I held the both of her hands on top of her lap.

"I'm going to work now. I'll be home early. Take care of yourself. And please, stop being like this. " I said.

I waited for her response. But she didn't say anything.

I stood up and took a look at her one last time. I took a deep breath and I walked away.

Rachel's POV

Pinanood kong makaalis yung kotse ni Sage. Tumayo ako sa kinauupuan ko at agad na lumabas ng kwarto. Nagmadali akong bumaba habang abala yung mga ibang body guards sa pagsarado ng gate sa harapan at paguusap.

Napansin kong may gate sa pool area sa bakuran. Pumunta ako rito at siniguro na walang tao.

Maingat akong naglakad sa may gilid at baka may makakita sakin. Nang makarating ako sa gate, wala itong kandado.

Dahan dahan kong hinila yung lock sa ibaba at siniguro na hindi gumawa ng ingay. Sunod, tinulak ko naman ito dahan dahan para bumukas.

Hindi nako nag-sayang ng oras pa. Agad nakong lumabas at tumakbo.

Sage's POV

"Stop." I told the driver.

"I forgot the folder. Turned around and go back." I told him.

The car immediately turned to go back to my mansion. I'm just attending a meeting today and I will go home right away. I want to make it up to Rachel and spend some time with her.

I already saw the gates. My body guards opened the gates immediately.

"Just park outside. I'll be quick." I told my driver.

I went out and walked inside of my mansion. I don't want to be late so I need to be quick.

I wen upstairs and went to my room. I picked up the folder on top of my table here inside---

"Rachel?" I called.

I walked towards the balcony. She's not there anymore. I went back inside and walked in my bathroom. She's also not there.

"RACHEL!"

Wait. Maybe she's cooking again?

I turned my back and went outside my room. I went downstairs immediately and head towards the kitchen.

I saw my butler cooking. But Rachel is not here.

"Where's Rachel?" I asked.

"I thought she was in your room Sir? I'm about to bring her breakfast upstairs." He answered.

Fuck.

"GUARDS! SEARCH RACHEL INSIDE THIS HOUSE, NOW!" I said.

I went outside the kitchen. I was about to head back in my room again when I noticed something. I saw the gate at the pool area. It's open.
