• Mattia's POV •

"Ready?" I looked at her as I parked the car in front of kairi's house.

"No" Luna looked at the house "it's going to be okay" I grabbed her hand "I've only met one of them and it seems like he doesn't like me."

"Roshaun doesn't like anyone" I chuckled "come on" I said then got out the car, "I'm scared" she laughed "you're going to be okay" I said then knocked on the door.

"Mattia! What's man" kairi smiled then dabbed me up "hey kairi" I smiled , "who?" He looked at Luna "oh um Luna this is kairi, kairi this is Luna. My girlfriend" I said "nice meeting you" they both said then shook hands

We said hello to everyone and they were all getting along with her, especially their girlfriends.

"I'll be back" Omar said walking in but stopped once he saw me, "you know what's going to happen there's no use" Joey said then did the exact same.

"Mattia?" He questioned "hey" I waved "oh Mattia" some girl said "Ziumara you coming with me?" Omar asked her.

"Let him go" she pointed at me "I just got here can I get a little like update of what's going on?" I looked at everyone since we were all in the living room.

"There's no need, I'll be back" Omar shook his head

"Babe maybe he can help" she grabbed his arm "in what?" He chuckled "I'm not letting them happen again" he gave me a disgusted look.

"Or isn't that what you came for?" He asked "listen I get you hate me for what I did but it's been 2 years and many things have changed alright" I looked at him

"I don't see the point in going, she wants to be alone Omar. She won't let you in" Joey said making me concerned.

"Plus your moms about to arrive and you're her only kid here just stay here" Ziumara said

"Fuck you guys" he said and gave her the keys.

A couple minutes went by and every on was okay I guess. "Hey um can I talk with you for a second" Ziumara came up to me "sure" I said and followed her to the front yard

"Can you do me a favor?" She asked "depends what it is" I crossed my arms "go check up on Kailani.....you don't have to but-"

"I'll go" I cut her off "thanks" she smiled "what happened though like is she sick or something?" I asked

"Xavier died.....and she witnessed it" she said "oh" I said "I'll let your girl know you went to the store" she said "alright, same location right?" I said before walking away "yea" she nodded handing me the keys to her house then went back inside and I got in my car.

• Kailani's POV •

I feel so bad, it's my moms birthday and here I am looking so ugly to even go.

The house is a mess, I haven't ate since the morning after I came back, that's only because Omar and Adrian came to check up on me.

Of course I was going to act like I was fine so they could leave me alone but as the days went by I would tell them to leave me alone and I'd block the door.
