" I hate being the only small one" Layla complained as she filled the bucket back up with sand.

"Well lucky you-"

"Everyone loves you and once another baby is born you won't get as much attention" I looked at Mattia

"What did You mean" she looked at Mattia completely ignoring what I said "it's nothing" he shook his head

"Lani" she looked at me "what? He's the one who said it" I looked at her

"Hmm okay" she said and went back to filling the bucket."Sorry" Mattia mouthed "it's fine" I whispered then after a couple minutes we were finished

"It looks nice.....what if I just kicked it right now" Omar said standing next to me

"I'd drown you" I said "as if you could" he chuckled stepping closer

"Wanna bet?" I looked at him "Omar don't test her" Joey said "why not? Give me a good reason" he crossed his arms

"No don't do it" Layla said trying to pull Omar away from the sandcastle

"Last year at your house during the summer" Joey said "ah right this little bitch chased me around with a knife yall" Omar said "really?" Alejandro said as the rest laughed

"Yes" I said

"I'm still gonna do it tho" he said then hoped right on top of the castle.

"Fuck you" Layla said throwing a hand full of sand at him

"Aye don't say that" both Joey and I looked at her "sorry but it took us a long time to build it" she said looking down at her feet

"It's okay princess come on let's go make on far from uncle Omar" Joey picked her up "okay" she smiled the  stuck her tongue out at Omar

"I remember when she was tiny and didn't even know how to talk" he said "me too" I smiled

"How long have u guys known the Birlems for?" Mattia asked looking at me

"I known Joey since kindergarten and once our sisters started school they became friends after a couple months" Omar said "Mhm correct" I nodded.

"When did you guys all meet?" Omar asked point around at the rest of the boys

"In soccer...I'm pretty sure it was in the summer before freshman year then once school started and we all went to practice together we became closer" Mattia said

"That's is very much true" Alejandro said drinking some water.

"You guys are stressing me out." I looked at both Robert and Roshaun.
