•   Kailani's POV   •

Mattia and I both walked downstairs and saw Layla sleeping on the couch as Sponge Bob playing on the tv.

"When Joey going to pick her up?" Mattia asked whispering "I don't remember" I said

"What are you doing for Christmas?" I asked trying to get some gummies "my parents are going to Italy but I don't feel like going plus all my cousins over there hate me" he chuckled

"So you're staying?" I looked back at him with a smile and he nodded

"I think so...the boys haven't said anything" he leaned on the kitchen island

"Lani can we make marroni and cheese" Layla cam running to me "let me check if we have everything we need" I said

Layla followed behind Lani and they looked for the things then I got a texted from Sophia.

Soph: Mattia I feel so bad
Mattia: we're gonna have to tell her someone or later soph.
Soph: do you regret it?
Mattia: what? Getting with her orrr???
Soph: what we did....
Soph: do you Mattia?
Mattia: a part of me does and the other part doesn't.
Soph: same
Mattia: ttyl I gotta go
Soph: alright byeeeee

"Babe Wanna come with us to the store?" Kailani's asked and I looked up at her nervous.

She had a smile on her face while grabbing her keys with one hand and holding Layla's hand with the other.

"I'll just stay" I said with a weak smile.

"Everything alright?"she farrowed her eyebrows and Layla walked to the door.

"Yea just felling a bit tired" I said "okay then we'll be back in a few" she smiled moving closer to me then planted a soft kiss on my lips.

"Take care" I whispered as she pulled away "come on I'm hungry!!!" Layla yelled making both of us laugh "bye babe" Kailani asked then walked out with Layla by her side.

I called Alejandro and sent him the address so he could come.

"There's hella traffic you're lucky I was close though....what did you want to talk about so badly?" He said as I let him in.

"Damn when you get this? Can I move in?" He said looking around

"I didn't get it, Lani did and I don't think you can" I said "why?" He looked back at me with a questionable look "because now we can finally have some privacy" I said and he smirked

"Stop" I smiled looking away "horny fucks" he whispered and I rolled my eyes

"Okay for real though what did you want to talk about?" He crossed his arms over his chest.

"It's something I did" I said looking down

"And by the looks it's was bad huh?" He said and I nodded in return "does this have to do with lani?" He asked and I stayed quiet "god please tell me you didn't cheat" he said and I looked up at him keeping my mouth shut.

"With who?" He asked "with soph" I whispered "good luck man" he shook his head then walked to the door and left.

I went upstairs to the room and laid on the beds thinking of ways to tell her.

We weren't together when it happened so it doesn't really count as cheating.....but at the talking stage we were at it kinda does count.

I fell asleep thinking of everything. I actually do regret it.

It was past 7 and Joey had already passed by to pick up his daughter.

Thanksgiving is in like 3 days and turns out we're spending it at my moms house.

I walked upstairs to the room and saw Mattia sleeping. He's been here since Layla and I got back from the store which was like 3 hours ago.

I laid down next to him and played with his hair.

"Baby" I whispered "hmm" he hummed snaking his hand around my waist then pulled me close to his body.

"I'm bored" I said and he chuckled then moved his head down to where his lips could touch my neck "is Layla gone?" He whispered kissing me neck

"Mhm" I started to breath deeper.

"So are we-" then there was a knock on the front door "ima lose my mind gosshhhh" I sighed in frustration then got up

"Hey sister" Omar said with a smile on his face as I opened the door.

Then I slammed it shut leaving him outside.
