Mattia's POV

"What? I thought you said it was going to take time?" I said starting to freak out

"Yea but you sounded so desperate I made my men hurry" he said and I hung up.

What the fuck Mattia. You're fucking stupid.

What if she's with him, I fucking risked her life.

My breathing started to go uneven and felt the road getting blurrier. Then I heard a loud sound before everything went black.

• Kailani's POV •

Lorena and I got back from shopping about 3 hours ago and Xavier hasn't gotten back.

He said he'd be here before we'd come back, so now I'm just laying in his bed lonely and bored as fuck.

I sighed and sat up, I'm hungry but I don't wanna go downstairs.

So I just sat there then I got a text from kairi.

I thought something bad had happened but it was just to check up on me.

I put my phone down and went downstairs and saw Lorena cut some fruit, "hey beautiful, want some?" She asked sliding a small bowl to me "thank you" I smiled

"So how's college going?" She asked "pretty good. The classes aren't that difficult" I said "that's good, Xavier told me your dorms were like right in front of each other" she said

"Yea they were, but then he moved and I moved" said with a small laugh then we heard the door slam open.

"Lorena!" We heard Kyle yell then he walked in holing Xavier as he tried his best to walk "Lani go up to the room" he looked at me before wincing in pain.

"Lay him down" his mom said with a little bit of worry.

I stood there not knowing what to do, I didn't want to go up to the room.

"Ma it hurts" he said laying down "I got you baby don't worry" she said getting the things out.

"Who did this?" She asked fixing up his wound "Mariano" his dad said "holy- fuck!" He yelled "I'm sorry" his mom whispered "Lani?" His dad looked at me "hey" I waved awkwardly

"Princess come here" Xavier whispered.

I walked over to him an held his hand.

"Xavier were going to have a talk later" his dad said then walked off.

I hand Xavier's hand thinking of the name his dad had mentioned. Mariano.

After a couple minutes his mom was done and both Kyle and I helped him upstairs to his room. "Thank man" he looked at Kyle who just nodded and left

"I'm sorry princess this was just so unexpected" he said laying down and I sat next to him "it's fine Xavier....at least your still alive" I said and he smiled, "true"
