• Kailani's POV •

"Omar what do you want?" I asserted his call "y'all almost here?" He asked "um about that....Xavier and I aren't going" I said

"The fuck you mean?" He asked "bye" I smiled and hung up.

"Is he always like that?" Xavier chuckled "sometimes" I said and he nodded.

• Omar's POV •

"What did they say?" Alejandro asked "apparently they aren't coming" I looked at him "aye guess what I found out" his friend said , I think his name is roshaun.

"What oh um roshaun this is Omar and Omar this is roshaun" Alejandro said "wassup man" he smiled "hey I dapped him up "Kailani's brother right?" He asked "yup" I nodded

"What we're you gonna say?" Alejandro looked at him "so I saw the list of who's going to get what you know like the award or whatever right.." he smiled

"Mhm and?" Alejandro crossed his arms "Sophia's getting one that has to do with the something something hoe" he said and I laughed "what you guys laughing about?" Joey asked

"You sister" I said "oh about that? Yea I also laughed" he smiled

"Guys have you seen Kailani?" Avani came up to us "she's not coming" I said "good" she sighed

"Why?" All of us asked "her and Mattia apparently got the best couple thingy and I doubt she would've gone up there with him" she said

"You're kidding" Alejandro said "nope Kayla told me" she said looking at some girl.

• Mattia's POV •

"You know if she's here?" I asked then took a shot "roshaun said she isn't coming" he sat down on the stool next to me

"Why wouldn't she? Her brothers even here" I looked to where Omar and the rest of the group were

"I don't know man but where soph wasn't she supposed to be with you?" He asked "yea but she said she had to go to the store but she would meet me here" I said playing with the shot glass.

• Kailani's POV •

"Are you serious?" I laughed "Mhm" Xavier nodded eating a fry "you should try it" I smiled taking a sip of my drink.

He was going to take me to this fancy ass restaurant but they were all closed so I told him to take me to five guys.

We're at my favorite place here, the cliffs. They give out a beautiful view of the beach, "it looks so pretty" he said looking up at the stars

"Why do you think it's my favorite place" I laughed a little then felt his eyes on me "Lani....fuck" He smiled looking away

"What" I asked eating a fry "I don't know how to say this" he chuckled

"Just say it" I said and he looked at me "girl"

"Like don't think about it too much" I laughed a little "well I don't think it's a good ideA" he said
