• Kailani's POV •

"You have a boyfriend though" Ziumara said as we sat on my bed. "I know but....it's just hard" I looked down.

"How?" She questioned "I don't know I guess I'm just sad about it" I said and Jayden wrapped his small hands around my fingers

"Oh I know why" she said "why" I looked at her

"So Omar and I were going to get things for Jayden before he was born and the told me that in your dream Mattia left and a couple weeks later you found out you were pregnant" she said "and" I looked at her

"You're sad because you don't know if he's ever coming back and you won't have a part of him you know" she said "hmm I guess you're right" I looked back at Jayden and he smiled.

"You want a kid I can tell" she laughed "I do but-"

"You're afraid anything will happen to Xavier" she said "I don't want my kid to grow up without their dad" I said

"Mattia was gone for 4 years" she looked at me "he came back" I said

"Oh well" she sighed

• Mattia's POV •

"The ice cream there is so good" Luna smiled "fine then let's go" I chuckled and we walked into the shop.

"What can i get for you two?" The lady asked "the usual" luna smiled "cotton candy as always?" The lady laughed "yup" Luna nodded then they had a small conversation.

Then my mood changed completely, I was kinda feeling better now that it's been three months. I stopped think about her and now the thought of her is back on my mind.

Kailani loves cotton candy ice cream. One times she tried forcing my to try it but she ended up dropping her whole ice cream on the ground.

"Mattia" Luna said laving her hand "oh yes um I don't know what I won't, I never really tried this kind of ice cream" I lied to make it look like I was thinking

"Italian but has never tried Italian ice cream" she smiled shaking her head after a while I finally decided what I wanted.

"Back off I'm paying" she said "I don't think so" I took her card and handed mine to the lady "you two are so cute" she smiled.

"Oh we're just friends" we both were quick to say.

"Oh I'm sorry" she said "it's fine" I smiled then Luna and I walked out "you looked kinda sad in there" she said as we sat down outside

"Something wrong?" She asked farrowing her eyebrow "you just reminded me of my ex girlfriend" he shook my head "oh sorry" she looked down "it's fine" I said and continued to talk about other stuff.

She was pretty chill and funny.
