"It's fine Lani..now what happened" Alejandro said walking into the house
"nothin I don't know he hasn't been coming home at night this past week and he hasn't answered his phone at all since yesterday" I said rubbing my head
"Lani I'm sure he's fine....unlike you it looks like you need to rest" he said softly
"What if something bad happened to him?" My eyes widened "nah I don't think so" he shook his head "has he told you anything?" I looked at him
"Anything like what?" He crossed his arms "I don't know something he's hiding from me?" I said running my hand through my hair.
"No....well at least I don't think so I haven't talked to him as much since like 4 months" he said "oh okay" I said
"Come on you need to rest I don't like seeing you like this" he said then picked me up throwing me over his shoulder.
"It's the first time you see me like this" I said "yea and it's worrying me" he chuckled then put me down once we got to me room.
"I'm going to stay on the couch in case you need anything just call my name" he said and I nodded "night Lani" he whispered "night monkey" I smiled and he rolled his eyes with a smile before walking away.
I got ready for bed then when I laid down on the bed I could feel my eyes water. What if that's his way of breaking up with me?

I started to cry silently just at the thought of him breaking up with me. We've one been together for like 6 months but I've gotten attached to him so much, like so much.
After a while I managed to fall asleep.
• Next Morning •
• Alejandro's POV •
I woke up and the sun was just starting to rise. Her house it beautiful one wall is all glass giving you this beautiful view of the city.
I got up and walked over to the kitchen to make her some breakfast.
Yesterday she looked so stressed and worried. 8i haven't talked to Mattia in 4 months because I found out he still had something going on with Sophia after thanksgiving.
I don't know if he still does or not but I'm not worried about him.
"Morning" Kailani smiled sitting in a stood "morning, how'd you sleep?" I asked looking at her "fine I guess" he said the started to play with her fingers
"um ale I forgot to tell you that you could've stayed in the guest room" she said before I could ask her if everything was okay.
"Yea it's fine....but now you look sad, yesterday you look stressed and now what?" I said giving the plate to her.
"What if this is his way of breaking up with me?" She looked at me "Lani if Mattia were to break up with you he'd tell you face to face" I said "and how do you know that?" She said then took a bite of her food.
"Lani I've been friends with him for a long ass time trust me" I said then she just played with her food.
We ate breakfast then talked for a while trying to figure things out.
"Well I'm going to get going" I stood up "okay um thanks ale" she smiled "no problem" I said then she gave me a hug.
• Kailani's POV •
It's been a couple hours since Alejandro left and avani called and said she was on her way here.
I've been watching movies and eating snacks all day after Alejandro left, I called and texted Mattia a couple times but I got nothing in return.
"Bitch I'm here!" Avani said "how the fuck did you get in?" I said after almost shitting myself
"Bitch you should've seen your face" she laughed "oh and the door was unlocked" she added.
She came and sat down with me and watched the movie for a while. "Alright bitch let's get you ready" she said "ugh I don't feel like going" I said "um I didn't give you an option" she stood up
"No fucking Mattia won't answer my calls and texts what if something happened to him?" I said
"That's not my problem, come on" she said pulling me off the couch
"Avani" I said looking at her "bitch you haven't been with me for the past couple of months...I missed your company now come on" she said "fine" I sighed and we went up to my room.
I took a shower and changed into

Ava I wanted to do my hair so I let her do that while I did my makeup.
"Have you talked to Xavier?" She asked "no, why?" I said farrowing my eye brow "he texted me the other day, he said he tried calling you and sending you texts but you wouldn't answer and well he wanted me to let you know he was going to visit sometime soon" she said
"No I don't think I have him blocked let me check" I said reaching over for my phone then checked "that's a shit ton of people" avani laughed
"It's all those fake ass snakes from high school" I smiled then I saw his name
"What the fuck?" I said quietly "what happened?" She said "turns out he is blocked....but I never blocked him" I said
"What if it was Mattia? Does he know your password?" She asked "yea....you know maybe it was him...I don't know they always pretty much hated each other" I said and she nodded
We finished getting ready then headed to the party.
