Getting into College is difficult. Add in the fact it's the most prestigious hero academy in the whole world and you've got yourself quite the journey ahead. You weren't magical or super badass, you weren't a god nor a super genius. B...
Who was surprised that you and Aphrodite became quite the pair... of enemies. Call it cliché all you want but that girl got on your nerves better than anyone ever has.
To her this was war.
To you? This was a fun game to do in your spare time.
The way she fumed and ran around to out do you was hilarious. She did her best to make friends with Nat and Wanda after seeing how close you were with them. They immediately turned her down which caused a loud snicker to leave you.
However she did get one rile out of you by getting closer with Loki.
You didn't know why but the way she flirted with him, the way he engaged with her conversations so eagerly set a flame to ignite in your eyes. He had become a very close friend but the fact he didn't see how fake she was might have been it.
To top this all off was the fact that Professor Rocket gave you a B for your assignment!
Not the worst but come on! It was deserving of at least an A-, seriously!

"You're sulking," Loki says from the beanbag in your room.
"I am not!"
"Mhm," he hums. "What's happened?"
"I got a B in this stupid assignment," tossing him the papers, he reads over it with a tilted head.
"This is brilliant, why did you get a B?"
"That's what I said! Gods, it's like he doesn't want to give his students A's! No one got an A,"
"He doesn't give anyone an A in the first term, don't worry," Vision quips as he passes your open door.
"That's unfair," huffing and falling face first into your bed Loki chuckles and sits beside you.
"Come on, N/n, cheer up," he pokes your sides causing you to squirm and glare his way. "Cheer up!" He continues this until you fall on the ground laughing.
"S-Stop! I'm good! I-I'm happy!" You broaden your smile making him leave you alone. "Stupid Prince,"
He leans against your bed with a small smile. "Don't worry about this, it's one assignment, just relax a little, take some time for self-care,"
"Oh no,"
"What?"
"You said the SC word-"
"Self-care?"
"Shh! Quiet or they'll hear you!"
"Who??"
"Us!" Wanda and Nat strut in with bags.
"It has begun," you groan and face plant against the floor.
"Get out, Friggason," Wanda dragged the prince out with her magic and the door shut behind.

"Ladies~" Tony bursts the door open to see you reading a book as the others were dancing.
"What do you want, Iron Ass?"
"Very funny," He grumbles. "We're having a party tonight, just a heads up,"
"Perfect!"
"No, not perfect! I have important things to do!" You slam your book shut.
"Day dreaming about fictional characters isn't important, N/n,"
"It is, and I won't be day dreaming, I'll be binging Sherlock!" They all groan as you stick out your tongue at them.
"I kinda want to hang with Y/n, I'm with her on this one," Bruce walks in with a shy smile.
"My new best friend!" You wrap an arm around him, watching his hand wave at Nat who returns it with a blush.

"Moriarty!"
"He killed people,"
"I love him," Bruce rolls his eyes, eating another piece of popcorn as the music blasted louder outside. "So, 'The Hulk' where does that come from?"
"Uh, it's just a cool name..." his nervous adjustment of his glasses and shifting made you narrow your eyes.
"It's to do with your powers, right?"
"What? Pfft, no I don't have powers... ok yes," he sighs after your stare. "It's more like a curse,"
"Well, what are they?" You listened intently to his explanation. Making sure to note his rise in breathing patterns and sudden dilation of worry. The basics were explained and you could tell the struggle he had to keep it all down.
"So yeah... Can't get angry or else the big guy comes out," disappointment clouded his gaze make you smile sympathetically.
"Hey, Bruce, listen, I'm here for you, I'm glad you told me and if you ever need someone to confine in or just hang out, just knock on the door,"
"Thank you, Y/n, really,"
"I'm going to get a drink from the fridge outside, continue the episode," patting his back you left the room and moved through the crowd. All sectioned off, genius' in one area, jocks in another, deities by the kitchen and assassins down the hall.
"Look who has finally left her cave!" Thor booms, hugging you tight.
"A girl gets thirsty, muscles," you take beer from the fridge and crack it open.
"Oh, Y/n, these are the other gods and goddesses," Thor went through a few names; Athena, Anubis, Venus, Hermes, Ares and Apollo.
"You're the one who pissed Aphrodite off?" Athena asks.
"The one and only," you squeak, scared in case she lashed out.
"We're going to be good friends," she shakes your hand making you sigh out.
"Where is Miss preppy pink anyways?"
"With Loki," Thor points to the corner where the two were making out.
"Gross," you gag, holding back a groan of anger.
"Very," Anubis sighs, adjusting mask and fits back on his headphones; which had two sharp ears on the top.
"Maybe I need to brush up on my pantheon studies because I'm going to be honest I don't know a thing about you all," books suddenly appear in Athena's hands.
"Have fun!" She hands them over as you wobbled from side to side trying to balance them and your drinks in the other hand.
"T-thanks," avoiding the crowd you disappear back to your room.
