Chapter 8

After we ate in the kitchen, Aaron ask me if i have friends here in the Philippines.

"Anyway, may kaibigan ka na ba dito sa pilipinas?" He ask while we walking towards the pool.

"Why? Why did you ask?" I ask.

"Uhh i mean, since laking tsina ka naman why don't you hang out to someone or else"

"Pfft. Kanino naman? To my co-bussiness and yza?"

"Hmm? Who's yza?" He ask confusingly.

"I just met her this last week"

"Girl?"

"Uhh yess.." i said while one of my eyebrows was raised I answered this question.

"Really? Ilang araw ka palang dito may girl ka nang nakilala? So what's her job?"

"She is the administrative assistant where she works."

"I see, Nice job" he respond. After we talk i suddenly got message from kim. One of my friends here in the philippines. Nakilala ko sya sa korea kasi isa sa nationality nya ay Korea. Medyo ma-attitude ang taong ito pero makikita mo sakanya ang pagiging totoo nito.

"Where are you? Im in manila na" he texted.
"Let's meet at Apero cafe dito sa Quezon, nakita ko sya around the way home kahapon. You're mom told me na you are here. 4pm don't be late"

Wow, ang boss nya talaga mag salita jusko. Pero dahil minsan ko na nga naman sya makita why don't I meet him, right?

I texted him back "im right away" at papunta na ko sa place kung saan ko sya ime-meet up.

"I have to go, where's lolo?" I ask.

"He's sleeping on his room.. where are you going?" Aaron respond.

"Im going to meet my friend, Pakisabi kay lolo babalik din ako agad"

"Ok, take care. maybe i should play the video games here.. oohh resident evil? Cool" and he set up his PS3 games on the TV.

Im here at Apero Cafe, kararating ko lang at hinihintay ko nalang si kim. Don't be late daw pero sya ang late, niyayamot nya ako ah. After 5 mins, finally nakarating na rin sya. He wearing black formal trouser and white simple plain shirt. Galing siguro sya sa work nya. By the way, His premium jacket was strapped to his arm.

"You're late" I said while crossing arms and quadrupling.

"Sorry may inasikaso lang akong kaso" and he sit in front of me.

"Hmm i see. Inasikaso mo agad yung kaso kahit kararating mo lang dito sa pilipinas?" I ask.

"Yeah, matagal naman akong nag stay sa korea so medyo na-rest naman ako"

"Hmmmm" sagot ko bilang pag sang-ayon.

"Ikaw? Hanggang kailan ka dito?"

"Pinapaalis mo nako?" He was about to call the waiter to order when he looked at me gently and reluctantly.

"Gusto mo ako pa mag ayos ng flight mo eh"

"Uhh. Whatever" and i look away.

"No, seriously kailan ba?"

" It depends" i answered.

"Hmmm i see" When he finished ordering, it arranged for him to sit on the chair.

"So, why are you here then? Vacation?" He ask.

"Supposed not a vacation. I was here to arrange the business agreement to Mr. Zayn pero dahil my lolo wants me to stay here a few days.. pinag bigyan ko na sya. Minsan ko na nga lang naman sya makita"

"Minsan ka nalang pala nya makasama, lumalabas ka pa" what the fuck? This holy ugh! I look at him apathy and talk.

"Seriously? Eh ikaw ngang tumawag sakin dito"

"Hmmm" ugh, he really don't know how to apologize pero buti nalang kilala ko sya kundi naitapon ko na tong tubig sa harap nya jusko.

"Anyway, is your parents will be here?" Kim ask.

"They will be here soon. By next week. Why? Do you want to meet them?"

"Of course. I will ilang years rin kayo wala rito sa pilipinas, gladly naaubutan pa kita dito at na meet kung hindi pa siguro ako naka-uwi galing korea baka ilang years ako maghihintay bago kita makita. Remember? You're 16 nung huli nating pag kikita" does he really want to see me?

Oh well, we have a great bond since we were young. Syempre one of the reasons kung bakit kami ganito ka-close its because of our parents are childhood friends. So bale na adopt nalang namin dahil sa kanila.

"How long did you stay in korea?" I confused. The waiter came and we got the coffee and bread we ordered.

"1 month" and he drink the coffee.

"That's too long ha"

"Yah, coz my grandparent want to see me"

"How's tita and tito nga pala?"

"They're fine, also adam" his little brother.

"Cool. Tell them kinakumusta ko sila" I said it happily.

"Hindi na ko nakatira dun" at napanoot ako sakanyang sinabi.

"Hmm? Why?" I ask and drink the coffee

"Cause i want to be independent, besides. I have a stable job naman so i can live in my own self"

"Where do you live then?"

"For now, im renting an apartment but I am also investing the house I will buy"

"Well that's pretty cool" i responded. When we stopped talking, I could see in him the smile on his face while chatting someone. I was confused so i ask him.

"Your smile looks genuine"

"H-ha? Oww. I was just talking to my girlfriend" sana all?

"Hmm i see. Ako yung nandito"

"What?" Panoot nyang tanong.

"Sakin mo dapat ibigay oras mo kasi ako yung nandito" ulit ko. I just wanted to see his reaction.

"Putangina mo" pero mukhang ako yung nagulat.

"Ugh? I'm just sayin' dude"

"Hindi naman ikaw yung priority ko duhh" and he rolled his eyes and chat his girl again.

"Sige ikaw mag bayad ng in-order natin ah"

"Anong ako? KKB tayo oyy, wag ka nga" see his attitude? Kung makikipag away ka minsan dito gagamitan ka pa ng republic laws.

Laging tandaan wag makikipag talo sa lawyer. Panigurado ikaw ang talo.
