"Scout" I demand, sticking my index finger and my middle finger together, pointing in the directions I want them to go. Dakota and Arrow go right while Bear and Niko go to the left. After they race off, I start my sprint to the tree line.

I kick my feet off of the ground and grab onto the tree branch. I pull myself up and start making my way towards the smoke, using the trees.

When I arrive, I could hear the wisp of air the metal door let off as it was falling.

I start to draw pictures. Noting down everything I see. Everyone I see.

The brunette approaches the soft, mossy ground hesitantly. Why is she so afraid?

She hops off of the metal ramp and lands gently on the ground. Her arms are thrown in the air and she screams.

"WERE BACK BITCHES!"

How odd.

A horde of teenagers run into my woods. Trikrus woods.

Most of them won't live to see another day.

I watch a blonde girl, she's mapping where they are. She's smart. Also quite beautiful. Wait, hold on. I can't get soft. Getting soft is how you get hurt.

I hear a few shrieks and see Niko and Bear stalking towards a group of girls. They snarl at them, their eyes glaring wholes into the younger girls. I roll my eyes.

I place my fingers upon my lips once again and blow. Another sharp, high pitched whistle floats through the air, alerting everyone on that metal tin that I was here.

The two wolves growl one last time at the group before sprinting towards me. Dakota and Arrow find themselves meeting their brothers as well.

I hop down from the tree, flicking my wrist. The wolves run off and I turn my head to look at the kids one more time.

The same brunette that screamed, ran towards me.

I turn and take off.

"Wait" I could hear her call for me to stop but I didn't.

"O, stop chasing after a stranger" a deep voice calls.

I make my way back to our small camp, seeing the wolves sleeping inside the tent. They must be exhausted. I walk up to them and whisper gently.

"I'm going hunting. Stay hear. Get rest. Stay alerted. Be safe......I can't lose any of you" I tell the wolves gently and Niko opens one eye at me. He nods his head slightly and that was enough reassurance. I get everything I need for hunting and head back out into the woods.

I search for some time, only finding a bunny or two.

It's about mid afternoon right now and I make my way to the river.

I take out my spear that I had grabbed and started skewering fish. When I had a good amount, I left the river, searching for something bigger.

I move away from the water, knowing deer will most likely be somewhere quieter.

Woods. They're my favorite thing, besides the siblings.

The smell, the way it enclosed you with nature, the different colors. It truly was a beautiful sight.

Until you see a dear with two heads. Like I am right now. I stealthily make my way towards the deer, making sure I could hit it with my spear.

A twig snaps and the deer swings it's head towards the noise. Sky people. Trikru are quiet. Stealthy.

The new people are heavy and obnoxious.

It starts to run off but I'm quick to launch the spear at its retreating figure. It enters the deers side, causing the mutated animal to fall over.

I walk over to my spear, pulling it out of the animals body before shoving it through its heart, killing it properly. I kneel next to the deer and thank it.

I could hear a gasp and then an excited squeal.

"It's you!" The brunette exclaims, inching closer to me.

"Will you teach me how to throw things like that" she asks, stepping closer and closer.

"Octavia stop! She could hurt you!" A skinny boy with goggles shouts, coming to get the brunette.

I stand up straight and spin around, facing the smaller girl.

"The boy is right, I could hurt you" my voice is cold and deep. I say it at a tone that only she could hear.

She looks up at me before frowning. I sigh, feeling pity for the younger girl.

Why am I finally feeling emotions. Maybe she reminds me of my sister. My brother as well.

I take a dagger out of my sheath. I could hear the choirs of the group as the trample towards us.

I flip it in my hand, grabbing the blade.

"This blade, it makes you a warrior. It's one of my favorites. Take it. Don't lose it. Meet me here, everyday, first thing in the morning. If you don't show up. We're done" I tell her sternly and her eyes light up.

"Teik the trilipa, skin em den eat em" I tell the group, starting to walk away.

"Can you teach me that too" Octavia shouts eagerly.

I raise my hand as a farewell and take my leave from the group.

Why did I offer to teach her? That's more shit added to my list.

What I didn't know is that this girl would soon become my best friend. What I didn't know is that I would grow to love her, something I haven't done since the wolves were babies. Love someone.
