"Amara! What's wrong" Lexa calls worriedly.

I meet her eyes and my shoulders relax under her gaze.

"Lexa..." I gasp when I see her beat up body and bleeding palm.

"Come on, we're going to the tower and you're telling me everything" she commands and I nod hesitantly.

She grabs my hand gently before her guards yell for her to get away from me.

This makes me recoil.

They're right.

I'm dangerous.

"Heda, you need to get away from it" I huge guy demands and she glares at him viscously.

"She, not it, and I don't have to be away from her" the brunette states, her long strides continuing.

Mine stop.

"Why are you stopping" she asks almost immediately and I sigh.

"He's right, Lex" I agree but she shakes her head in denial.

"I almost killed you. I'm not safe" I try to get her to understand.

"I know. But that's because of whatever they did to you in there. Not out here. Out here.....you're the Amara who helped a village of people even when she knew she could've died. You're my Amara" As she says her speech, I shake my head.

"They took away my arm! They broke me! There's no going back from that" I argue and she sighs.

Uh oh.

She has her Commander face on.

"We are going back to the tower. You will go to my quarters. Got it?" She demands lowly.

I nod fearfully and she grins slightly.

"Perfect" she spins on her heel and begins walking again.

"Holy shit" I mumble under my breath, wiping my sweaty palms...palm on my pants.

"Come on" I could hear Lexa shout and I jog towards her and her group of guards.

She's gonna yell at me...

"Heda...are you sure it's a good idea... bringing her in" A bald guy asks, glancing at me with hatred.

I roll my eyes at his actions and Lexa nods.

"She's fine. Don't question me again, Titus" she demands, not paying attention to the man.

"Come" Lexa demands gently as she holds out a hand.

I grab it and she tugs me into the elevator.

"Leave us" she requests to the guards and baldy before asking them to take us up to the top floor.

We stand in silence on the way up and I catch her staring more than once.
