It's Only The Beginning {1}

† Fourteen †

A traitor. She called me a traitor.

I could hear paws pound against the ground and I know it's the wolves.

Only I hear three sets, not four.

I twist my head to see Bear sat next to Anya.

I pull the coat I was making for Bear off of my back and lay it on the ground gently.

Niko turns to look at his brother and he growls.

My heart breaks at the sight of one of my most prized being choosing someone else's side.

Tears pool in my eyes and I try to throw his betrayal out of my head.

I can't.

"Come on" I mumble to the three.

They follow me silently, my shoulders sagging slightly.

The five.......four of us make our way back to the camp.

I could hear voices draw closer but I honestly didn't really care at the moment.

He left me.

He left his siblings.

I collapse to the ground, leaning against a tree.

Another chapter of my fucked up life is over. So I do what I've always done. I tattoo a summary of it.

When I finish tattooing my wrists, I wipe off any blood.

I wrap them up in cloth and sigh, starting a fire.

Arrow lays his head on my lap, laying down next to me.

Niko and Dakota do the same, curling up next to me.

"If only you guys could be people. Maybe then life wouldn't feel so lonely" I mumble petting them gently, lulling them to sleep.

My eyes close and I let myself pass out from exhaustion.

I'm awoken by a groan. My eyes crack open and I look down at my lap.

I let out a shriek when I see three naked adults cuddled up to me.

They all fly up and look around, trying to find the sight of danger.
