I climb off of her and smile.

"You're cute" I compliment, admiring her grin.

"Now, let's get going" I demand and she sighs before nodding.

We both make our way to the room door and I open it for her, allowing her out.

"Stay safe, love" I whisper to her as I slide by her, heading in the opposite direction.

I step into the elevator and ask them to take me to the bottom floor.

When I arrive, I release a shaky sigh before leaving the tower.

I see Dakota talking to a shop owner and head over.

"I said I don't want another one!" The shorter girl exclaims angrily as she yells at the man who was pestering her.

"Kota...can we talk" I question quietly and her head swings towards me.

I'm ninety percent sure my heart just fell out of my ass.

She's scary when she's angry.

Her eyes harden as she sees me and she snatches my wrist tightly.

She drags me to a place, behind a vendor, and crosses her arms.

"What the hell do you want" she demands impatiently and I sigh.

"Look, I'm sorry. I was a dick. I was going through stuff and I took it all out on you. I shouldn't have. I'm trying to do better" I rant and her face only hardens even more.

"Thats just too damn bad. You forced me into the position to follow you to Polis, try and stop you from killing the girl you love, and you expect me to forgive you!" She shouts and I drop my head.

She's right.

I fucked up.

She shoves past me, her shoulder hitting mine roughly.

I spin to watch her walk away, knowing it would only get worse if I followed her.

"I'll never sleep until your fully safe, Kota!" I shout after her and she flips me off.

"Even if it's me I'm protecting you from" I whisper to myself.

I head off towards the tower again, trying to ignore the constant stares I get.

I search the huge tower for Octavia or Clarke.

This is taking forever.

I hear muffled yelling and immediately perk up.

On my way towards it, I run right into Lexa.

Literally.

Our foreheads smack together and I stumble away in pain.

"Fuck!" I exclaim as we both hold our heads.

I shake mine, remembering the screaming.
