Time stopped around me, nothing seemed to move and I was standing there with my mouth wide open at his words. Esmay was right. He likes me too. My heart drenched with euphoria for the first few seconds when I realised what he was trying to say, but then suddenly I got completely mad and irritated. What the fuck is wrong with me?
I forcefully jerked my hand away from his and looked at him with total craziness going on in my head.
"You think Reagen likes me too, why should I not choose him?" I asked with my heart beating rapidly. I didn't know what made me say those words to him, but I was sure I had gone crazy at that moment.
He took a deep breath closing his eyes, looking like a god, and clenched his jaw. After a few seconds of complete silence, he opened his eyes and stared at me.
"Meet me when you are calm and I am telling you, you would come down to me" he said casually and it literally increased my unreasonable rage. He walked away calmy like he had just rejected my confession to him. I just totally hate him for that one confidence he has, though I thought that he might be true.
I was scrunching my face, taking an oath to myself not to go back to him no matter what, on my way back to my class. I entered my management class casually having serious things on my mind.
My thoughts slowly drifted to how I chose this class and all. I actually didn't have any goals or anything for myself, so I thought why should I not continue my dad's business. My dad also agreed that it was a good idea and he would trust me in this job, blah blah blah... I just wanted to do something and this was the only option I had met with.
By the end of the class, I was shamelessly drooling thinking how hot Edwin looks when he flips his hair over. I was smiling to myself when I noticed that more than half the class was empty and all the people are getting out. I stood up repeating the oath strictly to myself and got out with my hands clenched.
I was walking down the hall when I heard a familiar voice calling me,
"Ashley!"
I turned around and saw Esmay running towards me smiling with Sua behind her and a boy held Sua around her shoulders. I guessed she broke up with her last boyfriend and if she did, then he deserved that. He looked a real pervert.
"Hey, wassup?" I asked them with a small smile but Esmay already guessed something was going on.
"Did anyone tell you anything?" She asked slowly like she had just witnessed me with Edwin.
"No, who would tell me things except you guys" I said immediately gesturing my hands towards Sua and Esmay.
"Anyways, is that her boyfriend? What happened to that perv one?" I asked leaning in, to Esmay and she nodded with a grin decorating her face.
"That perv started acting like a perv and our friend here being the most nicest doesn't want to date a perv though he totally looked like one from the start" she murmured whisper-laughing at Sua and I laughed too.
