I suppressed my laughter at her stupid questions. I heard Esmay talk about how much of an intelligent she is, but her questions were the dumbest I have ever heard. She looked like she was bothered after forgetting something important and I kinda stopped her as I knew she would definitely ask me something I wouldn't be able to answer.
She had pure shock on her face when I told her that it was my turn. I already knew about half of her life and obviously there was no need to ask her anything.
Just as I was going through my mind for a question, Esmay and the Kang girl entered. Esmay immediately gave me a warm smile while the Kang girl was busy looking for someone.
Ashley looked like she was praying to all the gods for me to ask something easy but she was pretty bothered for a girl who had her whole life almost perfect. Yes, just about two weeks ago, I was going through all events of her life and noticed that hard times either got cleared by itself or she asked her parents for help.
Ashley turned around to see Esmay getting two coffees, towards us and looked relieved. I couldn't help but laugh at her letting out thank-the-gods sigh. Esmay sat near Ashley.
The Kang girl still hadn't moved from the doorways and looking intensely around the cafe. I must say that she was different and pretty observant.
"What are you doing her, Ed?" Esmay asked and I rolled my eyes seeing Ashley laugh at my nickname.
"I was going to do something important before you friend here, interrupted me. Thanks to your friend, now I wasn't able to complete it" I said while glancing at Ashley.
"I think you must be suffering from amnesia as I was the one who came here first before you interrupted my dreams, Ed" she sang and hand quoted the 'Ed'. They both giggled at me which made me tense up.
Kang girl joined us a minute after the laughter died. She looked at me wearily and sat next to me.
I got some stares and glances from all around us, which made Ashley turn and look at all of the people looking at us.
I stood up, as three pairs of eyes looked at me intensely.
"Stop acting weird like you've ran away from a madhouse from now on" I said and she scowled at me.
I walked away from them and heard Esmay and Kang asking her something about me, which I totally ignored. I saw Ryker leaning on the doorways on my way out.
"Had a great time with someone?" He asked smirking.
No one can be mad at him more than a hour as he clings to them, which is sometimes annoying. I tried to take a record of being mad at him for a few days, but he even followed me to my class.
I glared at him and said "let's go". He just chuckled before following me to the car.
Blaze and Reagen left before lunch saying they were starving and something, but Ryker made me promise to stay here, till he finishes his last class.
"Where are we going?" I asked as I didn't recognize the road he was driving me to.
"Aren't you hungry?"
"Nope" I told him truthfully, though I haven't eaten all morning.
"Great but I am gonna die if I don't get food now" he said.
I was silent and he took me to a Chinese restaurant. Oh, I've forgot to tell that he is a big fan of Chinese foods.
Those is-it-english-iam-reading names of the food irritate me enough to hate Chinese. I groaned and said, "please be fast. I'll be waiting in here".
