I haven't seen the boys the next day, as I woke an hour past noon and soon enough I arrived for my classes. I saw Blaze the moment I entered the room. His eyes was closed and he was tapping his left foot over the wooden floor. He had plugged iPods in his ears and he was slightly bobbing his head to the music. I took a seat beside him and he opened his eyes.
"What were you doing last night?" He asked.
"Ruining my chances with her" I sighed and looked away. I saw a girl from the last row, staring at my friend but she looked more angry than flirty. I fixed my eyes on her but she didn't seem to notice me.
"Is this a making-girls-mad week?" I asked, still looking at her. He followed my gaze after a few seconds of confusion written over his face. His look of confusion changed to irritation once he saw what, rather who I was speaking about. He stared at her and turned away mouthing some cusses.
"I punched her brother" he said casually as if he didn't do anything to make her mad. I stared at him wondering if it was just me or the girl had a perfect reason for being mad at him.
"Stop judging me. I totally misunderstood what they were fighting about" he paused, "she would probably be thanking and falling for me if it wasn't her brother that I punched" he said and I just rolled my eyes.
A women in her mid thirties came into the class and announced that she would be substituting for our old teacher and started the lesson with a questioning session. Blaze dozed off in the middle, that by the end I had to shake him vigorously to wake him up.
We both walked down the hallway and came across the stairway where I saw Ryker flirting with a girl. He was leaning against glass railing with his back to our side. The girl noticed us walking towards them and nodded her head in our direction to let him acknowledge our presence.
He turned around, looked at us and whispered something in the girl's ear. She giggled and walked away. He turned our way, with his face totally changed from flirty to seriousness in just a second.
"What happened last night?" He asked, pretty serious than I've ever seen him.
"Why is that the first question you guys can think of, when you see me?" I countered, a little irritated.
"Said something about ruining his chances with Ashley" Blaze chimed in.
"You like Ashley?" Ryker froze. His jaw dropped and he looked like I had thrown a rock on his head.
"Isn't that pretty obvious?" Blaze rolled his eyes at the overdramatic-Ryker.
"Why didn't you tell me when I was urging Reagen to just take her on a date?" He looked apologetic.
"Cause you were excited about them getting together" I shrugged. He suddenly put his hands around my shoulder and clasped me. It would have looked sweet if he weren't trying to kill me.
