-Chapter 2-

After about 20 minnutes we came to our apartment. Clary went immediately see our mom, I just sat on the couch stared blankly at the wall. After a while Clary and mom walked in. They were arguing about what I done in the Pandemonium, how I killed that guy and about that blond mystery dude with tattoos.

"... you even listening to me ?" She panicked. "I think Ashley just killed that guy."

"Clary ..." She started calmly. How she can be so calm, I mean Clary's right. I killed that guy. "Did they look like this ?" She asked, rolled up her sleeves and passed the Stele just above her skin. Then the same tattoo showed up. Clary just stared in disbelief. Then I remember the drawings I stole from my mom. I stoop up and walked to my room.

"Ash" "Ashley" They called for me. I just began to dig through my things. I found a black box. I walked back to my mom and Clary.

"That's why you kept this from us ?" I started and throw the box on the table. "Because there is something messed up in your past." I was furious. I didn't even know what that symbols were.

"Where did you get it ?" She asked angry. "How do you even know about this ?"

"Mom that's not important now. What is all this ?" Clary questioned and mom stopped looking so angry and softened.

"Look, everything you saw tonight has meaning and an explanation, and I've dreaded having this conversation with you since the day you were born." Clary shook her head, I just stared at my mom and tried get everything together.

"What's going on ?" Clary asked still find hard to believe that things are not the same as they used to. "Are we going insane ?" I was just listening.

"No, you're not." She looked at us with sympatic look. "But the protections are wearing off. You're 18 now and you need to know the truth ."

"Truth, what is the truth ?" I looked at her.

"Mom, you ... you scaring the hell out of me." Clary said and glanced at mom with tearfull eyes.

"I know, and that's why I've put this off until the last possible minute." She said and looked like she was worried.

Right when Dot run into the room "Jocelyn, look out the window. Magnus called to warn us. The found you." What, who's Magnus. After that information my mom run to look out the window.

"Dot, it's time." She shouted from window. "Okay, listen to me. You cannot be near me." She started running around the apartment and through all stuff.

"Mom, what's happening ?" I asked and started panic.

"I got a very powerful person angry." I tried looked at her, but she was in rush

"What did you do ?" Clary question in fear.

She looked at bookshelf "I hid something from him and his followers."

"Mom ?" She started in total panic. "Why can't we just call the police ?"

"The policeman you need to call is Luke. Keep this with you and think of me when you wear it." She said and give Clary some necklace. I just stared at her actions, and like Clary panicking from what is going on.

"Only if you need it." Dot spoke as she stand next to me and handed my mom some potion.

She grabbed our hands. "Trust your instincts. You're more powerful than you know. Dot, open it."

Sheheld out her hand. Blue smoke started to go out her hand open the door where the portal was created.

"Everything I've done, every mistake I've made was because I love you both more than words." She grabbed us and started pushing us through portal. "Luke will explain everything. He'll hide you."
