Through the Chinese restaurant alarm started ringing and air hissing. At first, confused werewolves along with the brunette Shadowhunter, but they quickly realize what was going on.

"Damnit Simon. I didn't know this was in you." Ashley whispered to herself, careful so werewolves wouldn't hear her with their supernatural hearing.

"Fire. Find it. Go." Theo, leader, said giving orders and everyone as obedient dogs stood up, running away, check the fire. "You. With me, now."

Theo grabbed Ashley arm and went with her into the docks. His grip tightened when brunette girl, struggled. She was trying to run, if it wasn't obvious enough.

"Will you stop." Theo growled, as he turned to face her. He looked at her his eyes slightly changing into shinning green, he thought this would be threat enough, but the girl didn't stop fighting. "Enough. You can't run. So stop."

He opened one of the containers. Werewolf pushed her in, into the dark.

"Keep your mouth shut, nobody will hear you anyway." Leader chuckled thinking that the girl will be crying and screaming for help. But how little did he know.

She got up from the ground, and before werewolf could walked away, she pulled out the daggers, which was still not returned to the Institute. She literally stabbed the werewolf in the back. Then she ran away like hell, until she bump into someone.

She looked up and saw Luke standing there, he was kinda scared and relieved at once.

"No, no, no." She turned to ran into other direction, but again she was grabbed by her arm. "Luke, I already stabbed one werewolf, I don't have any problem do it again."

"Look, I am trying to help you, it's not what it looks like, all right ?" He didn't even wait for brunette's answer, dragging her with him.

"How did you even find me ?" She asked, smashing Luke's hand form hers.

"I traced Alaric's car to the pier when he didn't return my calls." Luke slightly releasing girl's hand. "I just want to help."

"Is that so ?" She asked, with one dagger in hand, other stayed hidden. She was making imaginary circles with dagger for dramatic effect. "Because that's not what Clary said, you know at the police station ?"

She whispered the last part, a small guilt flashed in his eyes. But then as quickly as it came, it went away. "She didn't get it, I wasn't serious. They were Valentine's people. I lied to them. To protect you."

"How do I know that you don't want the Mortal Cup like everyone else ?" She slightly stepped back. "It's so hard to trust people these days."

"But you already trusted Shadowhunters." Luke protested, in his situation he needed to Ashley to trust him. "Ashley, you knew me your whole life, them you met them like two days ago."

"At least they are helping me." She argued back. "Clary's gone, in Idris or wherever, in this Shadowhunter land, trying to help me find my mom."

"Does she ?" He asked, he was more sure than anything, that finding Jocelyn is last Clary's priority. "If she's in Idris now, she became an envoy, helping you is her last priority."

Brunette girl looked at him with disbelief in her eyes, Clary was helping her, she promised. But on the other hand Jocelyn wasn't Clary's mom. She was torn, she had no idea if she should trust Luke or not.

"You may be right." She said, lowering dagger. "Oh God, I'm so stupid."

Small tears glistened in her eyes. She quickly wipe them off. She nodded at Luke and began to follow him from container.
