All Shadowhunters were in the Ops Center listen Hodge talking about information on Magnus Bane who according to Simon was the warlock who wiped Clary's and Ashley's memories. The certain beautiful brunette was walking around the Institute in chance to find someone she knew. It was still new to her so the entire Institute was like a maze. Until she finally find a Ops Center with all her friends in it. Almost all her friends.

Jace was the first to notice the girl. It was only 2 hours since he was in her bedroom wondering what happened. As he saw her he run to her. "Hey, what are you doing here ? You should be in the bed."

"And leave you all the fun, Blondie. Nah, I don't think so." The brunette chuckled and walked to the others. Jace couldn't do anything, so he just shook his head and followed her to the training room with other Shadowhunters.

"So we're going to party. And you guys would let me miss it." Ashley grinned as she spoke to everyone's surprise to see her, and Blondie behind her just rolled his eyes on her childish behavior. He slowly begin to use to it.

Both, the redhead and the raven-haired girl rushed to Ashley, wrapping their hands around her. In their eyes were looked of relief and happiness. Then happened something that no one was expecting in million years. Alec came to girl and slowly hugged. Brunette stood there for a while with wide eyes full of surprise. There is no way in hell that actual Alec Lightwood was hugging her. But eventually hugged him back.

She slowly pushed herself away and looking up and down at tall figure of older Lightwood. She frowned her eyebrows. "Who are you and what have you done to Alec ?"

He chuckled in respond. "Believe it or not, but I actually like you Shortie."

"Shortie. Really ?" Brunette gasped offended. Sure she wasn't so tall, she was something around 5'2, but that wasn't that short. Or what she thought.

The brunette girl was the only one who didn't stare with wide eyes at older Lightwood. Because everyone else was, they couldn't stop thinking about Alec actually like a newbie, 'the girl who ruined our mission' or 'the girl who is possible Valentine's daughter'.

To catch everyone's attention Ashley clapped her hands, with mischievous smirk on her face. "So, where is this party ?"

"Easy tiger, you just got out of bed." Hodge said with ruben necklace in his hand. Izzy eyes immediately went wide.

"Is that real ?" She still couldn't believe.

Hodge nodded. "A four-karat, unheated Burmese ruby. And this necklace has a special meaning to Magnus Bane, as it was a gift from him to his then lover, Camille Belcourt."

"That vampire chick and Magnus ?" Older Fairchild scrunched her nose in disgust. "Ew !" She said her face still full of disgust. Jace chuckled behind her, but he still noticed how cute older Fairchild looked.

"Yeah." Jace said, and Hodge nodded. Jace smirked at me. "Warlock gets around."

Ashley smiled sarcastically, and Blondie shook his head. Despite the gaze battle between Ashley and Jace, Hodge continue talking about warlock. "Magnus bought it in 1857 for the price of his London townhouse. Now, the jewel is enchanted by a spell that alerts the wearer to the presence of demons."

Izzy took the necklace to her hand, staring at it. Izzy couldn't believe that she can wear this necklace. It was the thing that she wanted to do long time ago, but now she had an opportunity. "It's so beautiful."

"Magnus has longed to reunite with this necklace. Offer it to him." Hodge finished. "He might just take the bait."

The brunette looked at him. She was glad that this Shadowhunters were willing to help her. And she was amazed how great team they made, but why she was surprised they did it for their whole life. Fighting side by side.
