"I'm sorry... I.... I have to go," I ran away from Youngjae, almost bumping into JB as I ran out of their dorm.

I didn't bump into JB, but I did bump into Mark.

"Hey." he smiled. "In a rush? I wanted to talk to you,"

"Y-yeah. I'm busy," I lied.

I'm a liar. I'm not busy. I have absolutely nothing to do!

"Oh," his face fell. "Okay. Call me when you're done with whatever you're going to do. I'll treat you later," he walked past me and went inside the dorm.

I let out a sigh.

I need to find something to do. Now. And so, I went to first place I could think of. Practice studio. I practically ran there and connected my phone to the speaker, playing a song and started doing freestyle.

I was on the third song when someone.opened the door and spoke behind me.

"Youngjae says you ran away from him. Care to explain why?"

I didn't mind him and just kept on dancing, keeping my eyes on the mirror in front of me.

"Yah," he repeated his question a second time. "Tell me why. Did something happen again?"

"It's none of your business."

I saw him bite his lip and walk over to the speaker, pausing the song on my phone.

"Kunpimook Bhuwakul," I let out a sigh. "Don't do this. It's not your business. Nothing happened me and Youngjae. We didn't fight."

He stared at me.

"Stop staring at me and just go on your way. Go practice in another studio or go back to your dorm or whatever. Go see Ayumi unnie. She's in the dorm right now." I sighed and went to the speaker, playing another song.

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

I ignored him.

Nothing's wrong with me. I just don't know what I should do. Wendy told me not to hurt Mark because of what he'd been through. I can do that but I don't think I can ignore Youngjae.

It's Youngjae.

I can't tell anyone about what Wendy told me. I promised her I wouldn't tell anyone...

"Do me a favor, Bam. When you get back to your dorm, tell Youngjae that I'm sorry."

"Why not do it yourself?"

"I have my reasons."

"You're acting weird, Lee Aera."

No, I'm not. I'm just normal.

"Do you have a problem with us?" he questioned.

Definitely not.

"No." I said to him, focusing on the mirror again.

"Then what's wrong? Are you mad at any of us?"

No.

"Just go, BamBam. I want to be alone."

He didn't move.

"Answer this, Aera. And tell me the truth. I don't want to hear lies."

I nodded to show him I was listening.

"Do you like Youngjae? Even just a little bit?"

"Leave, BamBam." I said, pointing at the door.

"Answer me first."

"I never said I would answer you. I said if I answered I'll tell you the truth, not that I would answer."

I am not answering that. Definitely not. And definitely not in front of Kunpimook Bhuwakul.

***

BamBam went back to their dorm, keeping his hands in his pocket and his eyes at his feet.

Once or twice, he looked back, thinking that someone was following him, but always looked back to the front, realizing no one was following him.

It just took him by surprise when someone wrapped their arms around him from the back.

"The hell!" he yelled in surprise, pushing the person away. The girl laughed.

"Hi, Kunpimook! Did you miss me?"

BamBam didn't answer and just turned his back on the girl.

She was his friend from Thailand. When he last went to Thailand, they met up and he found that this girl had apparently been in love with him. Since then, their friendship had never been the same.

Until now, it still bothered him that he never realized that she liked him...

"BamBam!" she walked beside him, catching up.

"Not now, Jin. We're in a public place."

She looked hurt.

"Can I come with you wherever it is you're going?"

He looked at her. She was doing her puppy dog face. Girls acting cute were actually his weakness, believe it or not...

"Walk quickly. I don't want a scandal." he ordered.

Her name was Jin. She was two months older than him. Fact, she was his childhood best friend and 'girlfriend'. See, they made up this game when they were kids that they were girlfriend and boyfriend and that when they grew up, they would be husband and wife. To tell the truth, she was one of those who really didn't want him to leave Bangkok for Korea.

"Yay!" she linked her arm through his, only to be shook off.

"Not now." he repeated, quickening his pace as he pulled cap lower over his face. "How did you even know it was me?"

"I've known you for eight years, BamBam. I know what the back of your head looks like, even if you are wearing a cap and are constantly changing your hair color."

He figured...

"Where are you going, anyway?"

"Dorm."

"Is it fine with you if I come?"

"Actually," he stopped walking. "I think you should go back now. It's already late and I don't want to start a scandal."

"Oh. Okay."

"I'll come see you when I can," he promised. "Just tell me where you are."

She nodded and turned around.

"Bye, Bammie!" she waved at him, looking back once.

"I'll see you soon, Jin!" he called after her before starting to run towards their dorm, his heart beating fast.

"What's up with you?" JB questioned him once he got back to the dorm and lied on the floor, his mind blank.

"I met my 'wife'," he spoke, using air quotes.

Yup. Wife. How could he forget that girl who made him promise to never forget her and that game? Who promised they'll meet again the last time he returned to Bangkok?

She didn't speak of it, then, but he knew full well that that game was still there in her mind.

He closed his eyes, not knowing what to do.
