"She didn't reject you?" Mark raised his eyebrows. Youngjae shook his head.
"She didn't say anything. She just said 'I knew it' and that was basically it."Mark bit his lip.
"C-Choi Youngjae, don't think this bet is over. She hasn't officially said yes yet," he spoke, stuttering a bit.
"And about that, I told her to do something before her debut stage. If she likes me, she calls me. If she likes Bam, she texts me. If she likes you, she calls me on someone else's phone." Youngjae informed him.Mark's eyes widened.
"You what?"
"You heard me. I told her to choose."Mark let out a sigh.
What if Lee Aera actually called Youngjae? What would he do, then?
"You're confident she'll choose you?" he asked.
"Of course," Youngjae nodded. "She didn't reject me."
"Think about BamBam. He's still a challenge for the both of us," Mark warned.
"I haven't forgotten him. But now that he's 'married' she'll probably turn to me,"
"To you? What about me?"
"She rejected you. Remember?"Of course Mark remembered. How could he forget that?
"I remember. You don't have to say it."
"Like I said before, Mark. I met her first. I liked her first. She might have been closer to you, then, but not after Wendy came. She was with me. Not you. She rejected you, not me."
"Are you trying to make me angry, Youngjae?"
"No. I'm just telling the truth."And Mark hated the truth.
Yes, it was true. She rejected him, but she didn't for Youngjae. But just because she didn't reject Youngjae doesn't mean she'll automatically choose him!
"BamBam's her first love." Mark said.
"First love can pass-"
"But you can't forget it."
"Mark. BamBam's taken,"
"No, he's not. That's not even real-"
"It's starting to become real."Mark let out a deep breath, calming himself.
"Do you honestly like her that much?"
"It's obvious, Mark. Don't ask about the obvious-"
"Youngjae?" JB said, knocking on the door from the other side.
"Yes?" Youngjae called back.
"Yerin's looking for you. She wants to talk to you."Youngjae shot a glare at Mark before going out of the room to meet Yerin.
Mark bit his lip, trying to keep himself from cursing. Youngjae was really confident that she would choose him. He really really liked her. Almost as much as Mark did.
But Youngjae wasn't the one who deserved her. He wasn't the one who experienced total heartbreak because of a dead lover.
Mark was.

GOT7 went to Taiwan, Shanghai and now, they're in Hong Kong. 5 days left before I turn eighteen!
March 19. That was the exact date of our first debut stage on M!Countdown
Since today is the January 31, we have around 40 days to practice and finalize things. We're lucky they still agreed to let us have a free day on my birthday. Actually, today is Kangjun's birthday so we don't have practice.
So now, we're just lazing around in the dorm after we gave Kangjun his cake.
"Is that Skype?" Min unnie asked.
"Yeah," I nodded.
"Did you video chat Youngjae?"
"Nope. He's not online."
"So you're waiting for him to go online?"
"Not exactly..."
"Okay," she shrugged.A smile made its way to my face, seeing the request to chat me popped me.
"Youngjae?"
"Yup,"I clicked 'Yes' and his face came on the screen.
"Aera!" he said happily. He was in a bright room so I could see him well.
"Hi, Jae. How's Hong Kong I GOT7?"He showed me a thumbs up.
"Great!" he smiled.
"Did you just take a bath?"
"Yeah. Our showcase is starting in a few hours so I needed to,"I laughed.
"Youngjae hyung!" Kangjun rushed to sit beside me.
"Kangjun-ie!" Youngjae smiled. "Happy birthday~"
"Thank you," Kangjun smiled back. "Is Hong Kong fun?"
"Yes," Youngjae nodded. "I love the food,"I laughed again.
"Out of all things to love, it had to be the food?"
"Of course!" Youngjae chuckled. "I miss you, Aera,"
"I know, Jae,"Kangjun moved away from us.
"Aera and Youngjae hyung are flirting with each other," he said to Jinwoon oppa, making sure I could hear it.
Such a kid.
"So...." Youngjae said.
"So..." I echoed, not knowing what to say.
"Were you waiting for me?"
"E-excuse me?"How did he know?
"I know you," he smiled.
My cheeks heated up a bit.
"Youngjae! Let's go already! Shut off your laptop!" a voice shouted.
"Oh, that's JB hyung. I should go," he told me. "Will you be online, too, later?"
"We'll see," I shrugged. He gave me another smile.
"See you. I'll be waiting,"He logged off, and I did, too. I turned off my laptop and rolled around, a smile on my face.
"What's wrong with you?" SungWon oppa asked.
"Nothing. I just missed Youngjae,"That was the truth.
But then I thought about my choice again. If I chose him... What exactly would happen? Would there be arguments? Questions on why I didn't choose him?
I mean... He wasn't exactly my first choice. If this was a few months or weeks ago, I never would have thought I'd be choosing him over the others...
