Anabella was sitting at a bar waiting on Jennifer to arrive. She had been living on her own since the day she had left Joe, she was still in Boston which was very risky considering Joe now officially lived here. Kate had sent her a picture of Joe's new house

It was not only gorgeous, but it was also huge. Big enough for him to have a family if he wanted one someday. Someday, without her. She had gotten a job at Davis & Davis Law, as the Legal Assistant to her college ex-boyfriend, Michael Davis. 

She had been dating Michael and engaged to him, they had broken up and she had met Joe, that's how her relationship with him had started. Now she was back to dating her ex, who was her current Boss. It was a very weird scenario in her head, but it was alright. Michael had changed since college, a much nicer guy, but not so exciting in bed.

She picked up her drink, a Vodka Martini with a lime twist. She brought the glass to her lips and took a sip. Her eyes scanning the club for Jennifer's arrival.

Jen came in after a while. Her hair was a bit messy as she came to sit trying to put her hair in a messy bun.

Ana smirked," Did you just have sex in your car and then run in here to meet me?" she asked with a laugh. She used forever be fixing her appearance after she and Joe had sex somewhere, where they shouldn't have been, to begin with.

"I'm not my car, Seth's car... he dropped me off so I don't have to drive tonight!!" She giggled.

Ana burst out laughing," Well I am damn proud of you for having sex in the car. That never used to be like you." She lifted her martini and had a sip.

"He makes me want it! It's not like we're in love. It's just great sex!!" Jen chuckled.

"Well whatever it is, it's a good thing you've learned from me. I was beginning to worry about you," she said.

"Nah he focuses on my needs too!" Jen said.

"I'm happy for you. I truly am," she said softly. She ran her finger around the rim of her glass slowly. 

" So how's Michael?" Jen asked her. Jen had never really liked Michael back in college, said he was too much of a dick. 

"He's Michael," Ana shrugged," Busy. Still at the office even after every employee is gone."

"He's the boss, hard worker..." Jen nodded.

"Well it is Davis & Davis, his brother is there too but Finn tends to go out and play around after work," Anna told her," So Michael is there to clean up his messes. "

"Oh, one of those!!" Jen chuckled.

"Yeah. He's a fun guy though," she said," So it's not all bad at the office. How has work been for you?"

"Good! A lot of fun actually!!" Jen smiled.

"That's good," she said smiling as she drank the last drop of her drink," I'm going to get another Martini, did you want anything?" she asked her friend.

"Tequila shots! Two!!" Jen giggled.

She laughed at her friend," Alright," she said. She went to the bar and waited for the bartender to come over. He was talking to another customer.

"Hey, you!" He said coming over. She recognized Brandon now.

"Brandon, hey how are you?" Ana asked him with a smile. " Great. What can I get for you tonight?" he asked her.

"Another martini and two shots of tequila," Ana smiled.

"Coming right up," he said with a smile. He grabbed two shot glasses and poured the tequila into them.
