Recap:
Trent sighed and began walking toward the door. "C'mon, Dakota. Let's go back to my place."
"Are you actually kidding me right now?" Dakota asked incredulously. "I'm not going anywhere with you! You used me!
Trent sighed. "Fine. I never gave a damn about you anyway, Dakota. And Delilah, I will win you back. No matter what I have to do, it will happen, even if it's the last thing I ever do."
Following this statement, he stormed out of the door and I felt a big wave of relief wash over my body. Trevor immediately pulled me into a tight hug, comforting me.
"Are you okay?" the manager asked me once Trevor and I stopped hugging.
I merely nodded in response because I was in a state of shock and found myself barely able to mutter a word. I just couldn't seem to get those bone-chilling words that Trent spoke out of my head.
'I will win you back. No matter what I have to do, it will happen, even if it's the last thing I ever do.'

A week passed since the entire scene with Trent. Surprisingly I had not seen him at all, but my phone was filled with missed texts and calls from him to make up for his absence.
I was in the kitchen looking for snack when I heard Trevor calling my name.
"Delilah!" Trevor shouted from my room.
I quickly ran up to my room to see what was up. I sat down on my bed gently beside Trevor, realizing that he seemed annoyed.
"Will your phone ever stop ringing?" he complained. "Trent has called you like five times in the past five minutes."
I sighed and grabbed my phone. "I'm sorry about that."
Trevor shook his head and shrugged. "It's not your fault. But it would be awesome if he backed off and realized that you're mine," he stated scrunching his cute nose slightly.
I couldn't resist placing a gentle peck on his nose, causing him to stop scrunching it. He let out a weak chuckle, but it was soon followed by a sigh.
"I just want him to back off," Trevor muttered under his breath.
I sighed. "Yeah me too. I guess I'll just have to block his number."
Trevor nodded in response. "Good idea."
A sudden tapping noise coming from my window startled me, causing me to jump.
"What the hell?" I stated, confused.
Following my statement, the sound continued. Trevor and I both got up at the same time, confused as to what was happening. Trevor hesitantly peered out of the window and sighed angrily.
"What is it?" I asked softly.
"It's Trent and he's throwing pebbles at your window. How cliche of him."
I buried my face in my hands for a few moments before stomping over to the window and pulling it open. I glared down at Trent, who was biting his lip and smirking at me.
"What the hell are you doing here?!" I shouted, annoyed.
"Like I said before, I'm going to win you back."
I sighed impatiently. "No Trent," I said sternly. "You're not. We're over."
"Not until I say so," he retorted. "You're still mine until I say otherwise."
"Get it through your brain, Trent! I don't want to be with you!"
"Dude leave Delilah the hell alone!" I heard Trevor shout from outside. "She doesn't belong to anyone!"
I quickly turned around to see that Trevor was no longer in my room with me. I didn't even notice him leave. The moment I directed my attention back outside, I was incredibly shocked to see Trevor suddenly tackle Trenton out of frustration. I squealed and quickly ran downstairs and outside, only to see that they were actually fighting now on my front lawn. I flung the screen door open and ran outside.
"Guys, stop it!" I shouted, with no success at getting their attention.
This was pretty awesome now that I thought about it, though. Don't get me wrong, I didn't condone fighting at all, but it was pretty awesome that two guys happened to be fighting over me.
Thinking quickly, I sprinted back inside and into the living room where Tracy was watching the basketball game.
"Tracy!" I called. "I need help! It's urgent."
Tracy sighed and glared at me once his eyes met mine. He slowly stood up and stared at me impatiently.
"This better be good, Delilah. I was watching the game."
"Forget about your stupid game! Just hurry up and follow me!"
I ran outside again with Tracy right behind me this time. The moment Tracy laid eyes on Trent and Trevor on the grass fighting, he went crazy.
"What the hell are you two doing?!" he shouted, storming angrily toward them.
Tracy immediately ran between the two guys, separating them and then proceeded to grab each of them by their shirts. He then forcefully dragged them out of the grass and onto the sidewalk, with a firm grip still on their t-shirts.
"Now I just mowed the lawn and put a hell of a lot of work into planting those flowers and making it look nice!" Tracy yelled in each of their faces.
I scrunched my face up in both shock and confusion. "What?" I muttered under my breath to myself. "That's what he's worried about right now?"
"You two stay the hell out of my grass! My wife would flip if you guys ruined the flowers I planted for her! Stay the hell off of my lawn. Do you two understand?"
They both quickly nodded and Tracy released his tight grip and push them both off of him.
"If you two wanna fight, do it on the sidewalk so you're no longer on my property. Understood?"
Yet again, the two boys nodded. Tracy smoothed his shirt out and took a deep breath, regaining his composure.
"Okay, you two may proceed now," he stated before walking back into the house.
I almost face-palmed at that scene. I couldn't believe that Tracy just did that, only caring about his stupid grass, instead of the two guys in danger of harming one another. Before I could stop myself, I found myself making my way between them before they could start fighting again.
"Now are you two done?" I asked them.
"I guess so," Trevor muttered.
"Whatever," Trent replied. "I guess I should go now."
"Yeah, you should!" Trevor retorted.
"Ooh, now I feel like staying."
"You won't feel like staying when I kick your-"
"Stop it!" I exclaimed, cutting Trevor off. "Both of you!"
They both stopped instantly.
"Now Trevor, take a few deep breaths and go up to my room. And Trent, please just go home," I requested softly.
Trevor did as I told him and retreated back into the house.
Trent rolled his eyes. "Fine, but this isn't over."
"Yeah, actually it is. Goodbye Trent."
"I'm not done here," he stated firmly. "See you around."
He then slowly turned around, walking away, leaving me dumbfounded.
