Recap:

"And I'm sorry, but I have to do this," he said.

He cupped my face in his hands and pulled my lips to his. I thought about pulling away, but I stopped myself. I kissed him back, loving every second of it. He intertwined his fingers in my hair and I smiled into the kiss, but my smile instantly went away when I thought about Trent. I reluctantly broke the kiss and quickly stood up.

"I'm sorry. I can't do this," I told him with tears forming in my eyes again. "I'm cheating on Trent. It's wrong."

Trevor stood up too, looking down at the floor sadly. "Oh yeah...Trent...For a moment I forgot about him."

"Yeah... We shouldn't have done that."

"But...you kissed me back."

I sighed. "I know, but I don't like cheating."

"Oh...okay."

"I have to go," I told him and quickly walked toward his bedroom door.

"Why?"

"I have to go sort some things out."

A few days have passed and I still haven't spoken a word to my mother or Tracy. I had nothing to say to them. I also haven't spoken to Trevor since him and I shared that kiss...that amazing kiss. I've been so stressed out that I've barely been eating.

I sighed realizing that I still had something left to do. I lazily leaned over to pick up my phone that was on the nightstand and called Trent. I got up and moved to the edge of my bed. He answered almost instantly.

"Delilah, look, I am so sorry about what I said to you the other day!" he exclaimed. "I was just in a really bad mood that day and I mean, that's no excuse for how I talked to you but-"

"I mean it's all over and done with. I'm over that, but, uh... I actually need to talk to you about something," I stated nervously, cutting him off.

"Of course! Anything," he replied. "I'm all ears."

"Well could you come over? I actually need to tell you this face to face."

"Yeah sure! Now?"

"Uh, yeah. Get here as soon as you can please."

I hung up after that and gently set my phone down beside me. I nervously buried my head in my hands, worrying about how Trent would react to the news I was going to tell him.

After about ten minutes of being lost in my thoughts, I slowly stood up and paced nervously back and forth, practically hyperventilating. Suddenly, the door opened, stopping me dead in my tracks. I glanced up only to see Trent smiling at me from the doorway with his arms crossed across his chest.

"Hey Delilah," he stated gently. "Your mom sent me up."

"Hey," I replied nervously.

He flipped his hair and uncrossed his arms, walking toward me, stopping a few feet in front of me.

"So what'd you wanna talk to me about?" he asked, concerned. "Is it bad?"

I bit my lip nervously. "Yeah, it's pretty bad..." I trailed.

An expression of worry instantly formed on his face. "What is it?"

"Well I may have kinda sorta... Well I mean, uh I may have possibly..."

"Stop stalling, Delilah. Just say it," he encouraged. "It'll be fine."

"You're gonna hate me," I told him.
