Recap:

I pulled away from the hug and shrugged. Trevor gently grabbed my hand and pulled me outside with him through the main entrance. He motioned for me to take a seat on the bench and I did. He then sat right beside me.

"Can I ask you something?"

I nodded. "Of course. Anything."

"Why... exactly haven't you been working on your singing career lately?"

I shrugged. "I don't know."

"I thought this was your dream?"

I shrugged yet again. "Well dreams change," I told him. "I guess you can say that I changed my dream," I lied.

"But this has been all you've ever wanted."

"Not anymore I guess."

"But-"

"Don't worry about it," I cut him off.

A few months have passed and our lives have returned back to the way they were before all of the madness. My mom was still very optimistic, Tracy was still making my life hell and I of course was still a drama queen. I've somehow forgiven Tracy for the whole car accident thing. It obviously wasn't his fault and I couldn't keep continuing to blame him for something he had no control over. Don't get me wrong though-Tracy and I still despised each other's existences, but we've just grown past the accident.

My mother recovered fully already. She still had the occasional pain in her back, but that was to be expected. It could've been much worse, honestly.

Trevor and I were still going strong, of course. We were actually planning on going out in just a few minutes.

I inspected myself in the mirror in front of me. My hair and makeup were surprisingly perfect, which was very unusual. My simple black fitted t-shirt complimented my dark jeans perfectly.

"Delilah, Trevor's here!" my mother shouted, interrupting my thoughts.

I quickly perked up, grabbed my phone and ran down the stairs. I was greeted by Trevor's perfect smiling face. His smile made me happy every single time I saw it.

"You look beautiful," he told me with a look of astonishment.

I bit my lip, trying to hide my smile. I began to blush and he smirked at my reaction.

"I'll just leave you guys to it," my mom stated and quickly left the room.

I gave Trevor another smile and he returned it.

"God your smile is so perfect," Trevor stated, cupping my face in his hands and pulling my lips to his.

"You're too kind," I stated as we pulled away.

"No I'm not," he replied. "Just honest."

I smiled softly and grabbed his hand in mine, intertwining our fingers.

"Shall we go?" I asked.

Trevor gave me a quick nod. "We shall."

I opened the door and Trevor beckoned for me to lead the way. Once we were both outside, he shut the door behind us and we walked down the sidewalk hand in hand.

"Where are we going anyway?" I asked.

"Well, my beautiful girlfriend," he stated. "I'm going to take you to a movie, then afterward we're going to get pizza and lastly, I'm going o take you home and kiss you good night."
