Recap:

I had no one left to talk to at that moment.

Except your boyfriend, genius.

I genuinely felt bad. Trent didn't even cross my mind at all until that very moment.

I tried wiping my tears away, but it was to no use. Every time I wiped my tears away, even more replaced them. I tried to ignore it and pulled my phone out of my pocket to call Trent. I silently prayed that he wasn't busy at the moment.

"Hey Delilah," he answered.

I sniffed. "Hey Trent," I replied calmly.

"Are you okay?" he asked concerned. "Are you crying?"

"Yeah I'm kinda down at the moment, I guess. I just needed someone to talk to."

"Did you want me to come over? I can come right now if you want."

"Could you?"

"Of course!" he replied. "Anything to keep you happy."

I smiled. "Thanks Trent."

"I should be there in like fifteen minutes or so."

"Okay. See you then," I muttered before hanging up.

I turned around and slowly began to walk back home.

"I don't understand why you're being such a brat about this," Trent stated after I told him the big news. "What's the big deal?"

"It's a big deal because you know how much I hate Tracy! I don't want my mother to be impregnated by him!"

"You're lucky to even have a family like them," he replied.

"Oh I didn't know it was considered lucky to have a stepfather that constantly picks on you!"

"Any family is lucky! All my life it's just been me and my mom! I'd kill for a younger brother or sister!"

"You say that like it's a bad thing!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms in the air. "Your mother is one of the best mothers anyone could ever have!"

"That's beside the point! I think you need to relax and stop being such a baby! There's already gonna be one baby living here and they definitely don't need another."

"And I think you should get out and go home," I snapped.

"This is ridiculous," he stated. "Grow up."

He got off my bed and loudly slammed my bedroom door behind him. Wow. I called him because I wanted his company and to be comforted, but no. He just had to do the opposite.

I fell back onto my bed and sighed. I needed someone to talk to. I refused to talk to my mom or Tracy.

I quickly sat up, realizing who would do the best at comforting me. Trevor and I weren't together anymore, but that didn't mean him and I couldn't be friends... Right?

I grabbed Zuzu, my blue stuffed bunny and hugged him. I laughed softly at my childishness. This bunny could always calm me down. Not wanting to run into Tracy, or my mom for that matter, I walked over to my window and carefully climbed out. I held on tightly to Zuzu as my foot made contact with the tree and I was able to make it to the ground safely.

"Well, that was fun," I muttered to myself.

I practically sprinted the few blocks to Trevor's house. Once I was on the porch, I rang the doorbell. I waited impatiently until Trevor opened the door. His eyes widened once he saw that it was me.
