(A/N this takes place before "Someone" is released)
A loud ringing woke me up. I opened my eyes sluggishly and glanced over at my clock and groaned. It's six in the morning. Who the hell calls someone that early? I picked up my phone and saw Trevor's name flashing across the screen.
"Trevor, do you know what time it is?" I groaned.
"Good morning sunshine!" Trevor shouted.
"What do you want?"
"You'll never guess what happened!" Trevor shouted blissfully.
"What? What happened?"
"A record label finally signed me! I'm so excited and I can't contain myself!" Trevor shouted through the phone.
I jumped up immediately and freaked out. "Oh my gosh, really? Trevor I'm so happy for you!"
"Thank you! I just can't believe it! I start working on my first single next month!"
"Trevor, I can't believe this! This is amazing!"
"Wanna come over later to celebrate?! There's going to be a small party at my house later!"
"Of course I do, Trevor!"
"Great, I'll see you later. Go back to sleep, baby," Trevor said before hanging up.
I chuckled. Trevor doesn't usually use pet names with me. I eventually fell back asleep.
I woke up again to someone plopping down on my bed. I looked up and saw Connor smiling at me in a very creepy manner. Ever since he moved to LA, he's been showing up at my house at random times.
"Hey Connor," I said as I yawned and stretched and sat up.
"Hello, Delilah," he replied still smiling at me.
"Is there something wrong with your face?"
"Is there something wrong with your manners?"
"Connor, what manners?"
He laughed and shrugged.
"Why are you here so early?"
"Early? Delilah, it's 2 in the afternoon."
"Damn. What the hell?"
"Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?"
"I don't kiss my mom," I replied.
"Do you kiss Trevor with that mouth?" Connor asked.
"Connor we both know that Trevor says way worse things than that."
"That's very true..."
"Connor, why are you even here?"
"What, I'm not allowed to visit my dear friend?"
"Not when I'm asleep, you're not."
"You know you love me."
"You know what I love more than you?"
"What?"
"Sleep."
"Well can you get up so we can go?"
"Go where?"
"To the mall so we can get Trevor a gift, duh."
"Connor, you finally had a good idea!" I exclaimed as I ran to the bathroom.
A half hour later, Connor and I were leaving to get Trevor a congratulations gift.
