I opened my eyes and realized that I wasn't in my bed. Sitting up and looking around, I remembered that I was at Connor's. I got up and went into the kitchen to find food.
As I walked into the kitchen, I saw Connor and he was yelling at Kian.
"Dude! This was mine!"
Kian shrugged. "Well I'm sorry! I didn't know I swear!"
"Well there's something called asking me whose it was!" Connor retorted.
"Chill out, okay? I'll go to the store later and buy you more cereal. It's no big deal."
I chuckled and both of them turned to look at me.
"Oh, hey Delilah. I didn't see you there," Connor stated.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Kian ate all of my cereal."
"I didn't know it was yours!" Kian chimed in.
"It's called asking who it belongs to!" Connor fired back.
"So...you're upset with Kian because of some cereal?" I asked, trying my best not to laugh.
"It was good cereal!"
"Stop being so crabby," Kian said. "I already told you I was going to buy you more."
Connor rolled his eyes. "Okay, fine."
I was going to say something, but my phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Delilah."
I smiled. It was Trevor's voice. "Hey Trev."
"So...about that movie we were supposed to go to later..."
"You're canceling aren't you?"
He sighed. "Yeah. I'm sorry. Something came up."
"It's fine. I kind of expected it anyway," I said quietly and hung up the phone.
"What's wrong?" Connor asked, concerned.
"Uh, nothing. We should go see a movie," I replied, changing the subject.
"Yeah sure," Connor said.
"Can I come?" Kian chimed in.
"Yeah, sure you can, right after you buy me more cereal," Connor snapped.
"Wow," I mouthed to Kian.
He just shook his head in response.
"What do you want to see?" Connor asked.
"Any horror movie playing," Kian shouted.
I nodded.

"Worst movie ever!" Kian shouted as we walked out of the theater.
"Seriously! The special effects were terrible," Connor agreed.
"And that was by far the worst acting I have ever seen!" I added. "I can't believe I wasted my money to see that."
"Actually, I'm the one who bought your ticket," Connor replied.
"Oh yeah," I said.
Suddenly I bumped into someone.
"Oops! I'm so sorry!" I shouted.
I glanced up to see who I bumped into, only to be met with a familiar pair of brown eyes.
"It's fine, don't worry," he reassured and flipped his brown hair.
