Recap:
I was so angry that I thought that I was going to explode. I grabbed the pillow closest to me, shoved my face in it and screamed as loud as I could. Afterward, I threw the pillow across the room and took a few deep breaths.
That's when I got an idea. Trent gave me the opportunity and I was about to take it. I snatched my phone off my bed and called Trent.
"Hello?"
"Hey Trent. I wanna give us a chance."
~*~
"Y-you serious?" Trent stammered.
"Yeah. I'm serious. I want to give us a chance," I replied.
"And what about that Tanner guy?"
I rolled my eyes. "Trevor isn't in the picture anymore."
"Okay wow. That's awesome. What made you change your mind?"
"It's simple. You care about me and he doesn't."
"No argument there."
I sighed. "Well I've gotta go. I have to get my stuff from Trevor's house and give him his things back."
"You're going over his house?" Trent asked, jealousy clear in his tone.
"Just to get my stuff back," I reassured him.
He sighed. "Are you sure you're going over there just to get your stuff back?"
"And to let him know about us. If you're so worried, you can tag along."
"Can I?"
I sighed. "Yeah, sure."
"I'll be there in ten minutes to pick you up."
"Okay thanks," I said before hanging up my phone.
I didn't have a box, so I just grabbed a small bag to put Trevor's random crap in. Taking a quick look around my room, I noticed that Trevor didn't leave as much stuff here as I thought. Random wristbands of his were scattered across my dresser, a few even on the floor. All of the wristbands on the floor were quickly thrown into the bag. Afterward, I stepped closer to the dresser and came to the conclusion that the only things of his on it were the wristbands. I snatched them and forcefully threw them into the bag. Then I swiftly moved the dresser over to look behind it. Lying on the floor was a variety of scattered items. One of these items caught my eye, though. I picked it up and smiled slightly. My smile soon vanished when I realized that it belonged to none other than Trevor Moran.
"His old vlog camera," I muttered to myself, moving the camera around in my hands.
"Ready to go?" a voice asked from behind me, startling me.
I turned around and met Trent's big, kind brown eyes.
"Your mom let me in," he explained.
I stared down at the camera in my hands for a few more seconds before tossing it into the bag. I looked back up at Trent again and gave him a small smile.
"Yeah, I am. Let's go," I stated.
He smiled and put his arm around my shoulders as we left my room. As we walked downstairs, I was shocked that my mom didn't pop out of nowhere to say anything. Instead, I saw that she was only looking at us from a distance. My eyes met hers and she merely waved. I raised my eyebrows, slightly bothered by her distant behavior, but quickly brushed it off.
Trent and I got into the car and he immediately began driving. I told him exactly where to go and we made it to Trevor's house in about three minutes. Honestly, him and I could've just walked.
