also... i have a girlfriend now asf so whenever i'm writing this i just think of her hehe.. ok anyways i think this will be second to last chapter, probably a filler !

y/n pov: it was officially my last day at the bau. the semester was coming to an end and it was finals week at school which meant i would be too busy to go on anymore cases with the team. i was sad it was over, but it also was an incredible experience. the team had become like a second family to me over these past few months and i was definitely going to miss all the shenanigans that we got into at the office and during down time on the cases.

i walked through the double glass doors for what would be the last time for a while with a bittersweet feeling. the whole day was pretty mellow, and filled with paperwork seeing as there were no cases that urgently needed attention. when the clocks hit 5pm, everyone had started to pack up their belongings

"alright guys, it's miss thing's last day here, everyone is obligated to go out for drinks tonight," morgan had said as he was putting on his jacket. there was no protest to his statement and we all met at a local bar a few blocks down the street.

emily pov: i felt a little bit torn knowing it was the last day y/n was here with the team. i knew that i would still continue talking with her and the occasional spending the night would happen, seeing as we were now in a relationship but i couldn't help but feel a little bit sad about it all. 

how was i supposed to go to work everyday and no longer see the girl's that i adore face sitting just a few feet across the office from me. what am i supposed to do on the jet home after a long case if she's no there to hold my hand and talk to me. i knew that i would be okay, seeing as i had been doing it for years since she started her internship, but now that i knew what it was like with her, i didn't want to be without her. i pushed my feelings aside and tried to stay in the present moment, surrounded by my team- my family- and the girl that made me happier than i could ever imagine.

morgan ordered the first few round of shots, followed by rossi paying for the many rounds of drinks that followed. after several hours, pretty much everyone was past the point of being drunk and started to leave one by one until it was just y/n and i left.

"do you wanna come over?" i asked her and she had a drunk,sweet smile on her face and nodded yes. we called for an uber seeing as neither of us could drive, let alone walk like a normal person would. once we were dropped off at my place, i unlocked the door and we made our way inside.

"em, i know you probably wanted to do more than just sleep tonight but i really dont have the energy to do anything... i'm sorry i just-" she started by i cut her off by pulling her in for a hug.

"sweetheart, we don't have to do anything other than sleep, don't worry about it." i said to her and to that she pressed a sweet kiss to my lips.

"thank you, i'm just so drained from this past week,a dn past few months to be honest." i smiled tightly to myself and nodded slightly so she knew that i heard what she said. i didn't even think about how this might have been on top of school for her. it crossed my mind a few times, but never pressed the subject seeing as she always shut the conversation down when i tried to initiate it.

"come on, lets go to bed.," i said into her hair and she nodded, as i followed her into my room by the hand.

y/n pov: emily pulled a tshirt and a pair of sweatshorts out of her dresser and handed them to me before doing the same for herself. i was too tired to care about what she might think of me so without turning around, i undressed from my work attire before slipping into the clothing she gave me. i knew she was trying not to stare, but she didn't do a very good job at hiding it. i just smirked to myself and pretended like i didn't notice her before i crawled into her bed, waiting for her to join my side. 

emily changed her clothes quickly and followed my lead, pulling back the blankets before climbing in and cuddling up next to me. she wrapped her arm around my torso while i snuggled deeper under the blankets and into her, feeling safe and comforted in her arms.

"thank you for tonight baby, i really had a great time." i said, and she placed a soft kiss on my shoulder in response.

"of course y/n, i adore you. goodnight." emily said and i smiled, humming slightly in contentedness.

a/n: hi ! this is kinda short i feel, idk i wrote it in like 20 mins but its like 2am and i have class in the morning so i will try to finish this up after my lab!!!
