Broken 2 (THE COMEBACK)

Forty seven

"You can drop me off at the bus station "
Sam said once they were in the car

"Where would you go Sam "

"I'd figure it out..... "

"But have arranged for you to stay at the penthouse with me "

"I never said I was going to be staying at your place, who ask you to make arrangements. Did I ever speak to you about accommodation "

"Cmon Sam. We both know you don't have anywhere else to go. There's plenty of room for you in the penthouse "

Frankly she has nowhere to go and she didn't make any plans about what next for her. She just wanted to get out of prison and figure it all out

She wasn't comfortable living with Harvey either not now that his father is the next thing on her list.

She didn't want to owe him any sort of gratitude or form an alliance that is too hard to break

But then again, it has been a long day and it not like anyone else is offering to take her in

"Please at least for now, till you get a place to stay" he pleased

'That sounds like a reasonable idea, it either this or sleeping on the streets

"Don't You need to make a stop or something "

"I'll do that tomorrow, right now I have my hands full and I don't wanna lose sight of you"

"Yikes........  You keep talking like that and we are going to have a problem "

"Fine..... I'll behave, but what is it going to be"
After a long pause

"Okay...... I'll stay for the night. I'll start looking out for a place tomorrow "

"Sounds fair to me"
She is sooooo stubborn
Now he has to be on his best behavior, No more talks about his daddy at least not tonight

When they pulled over at the skyscraper he lived in Sam was ogling at it for awhile.

He used to leave in a castle and now he lives in a magnificent jaw dropping glass house.

They rode the private elevator to his top condo. They didn't say a word to eachother but Harvey could see in her eyes that she is captivated by what she has seen

When they got his condo, he clicked open the door and the warm smell of lavender nearly knocked her off her feet, she managed to stay rooted as she walked in after him. What is this place

Whoever designed this place has an eye for perfection. The setting was top notch and everything blended richly as she moved further down the room

She noticed someone's silhouette in the dinning area and her inquisitive self march straight there like she own the place

And there it was, The perfect surprise. A table for a feast, lights and candle,  sitting beside it was her darling Simon

She hurried towards him and jump on him with a big hug. She didn't think he'd be here in Harvey's  apartment waiting for her with a surprise dinner

She hooked her arms around him and kiss his chubby cheeks

"Damn what have you been eating"
She took a step back to analyze him
For one he was taller, like really tall. His shoulders were broader and his face was fuller

"Look at you. You look like the Rock, what the hell happened to you "

"I don't know... Harvey happened "
He giggled and then she turned to him leaning against the seat
