Broken 2 (THE COMEBACK)

Helen was held in an interrogation room in CIA headquarters for over an hour after she was taken to the police station for questioning.

She was actively involved in the crime scene when the cops arrived, she was there when two agents managed to make it out of the building..

She wanted to see for herself whatever evidence came out of the building

The fire service was able to bring out five casualties, severely burned beyond recognition

Her overly concerned attitude towards the Ongoing investigation and crime scene made the officer on duty request that she come with them to the station for further questioning

Afterwards she was released to two other CIA agent that took her to the CIA headquarters in Langley miles away from her home

Her story had been memorized, she was driving by when she saw the building go down in flames. She only saw two men in black leave the building and she couldn't retain them because they got away

It was actually the truth except that she intentional left out the part where she was called as backup and how she let the people that set the building on fire get away

Honestly she was still confused by the turn of events, her only opportunity to expose the secret affairs of the black ops organization is ruined

She's currently held in an interrogation room of her own agency and she could tell someone was gawking at her through the one way mirror slide in front of her

She was tapping her feet gently, these men cannot know that she is nervous as hell, she should be home with her son by now but of course not she is stuck here, detained for being stupid 

The longer she waits the more perplexed she was by the situation, something is definitely wrong somewhere

The door finally opened and agent Finley walked in with a cup of coffee and files in another hand .

Finley is one of those agents you don't want to mess with,they have been around too long and they know the drill. Why did they bring him to question her over trivial matters like this

He tossed the files on the table between them and handed out the coffee to Helen

"Hello Spencer" he cracked
''You know this is very funny .... You are always on this side of the room and now you are on the hot seat"

"I still don't understand why am here, "

"I think you know exactly why..... "
He set the recorder down and opened his file.
He sat down and cleared his throat

"Why were you at Prime Agency tonight Agent Spencer "

"I was going to get takeouts for my son  at the Chinese restaurant in front. "

"And You couldn't find any other parking space than that of the burning building "

"Get to the point Finley "

"You were there for over ten minutes. You didn't report to 911 neither did you try to save the casualties from the fire.  So why exactly were you standing in front of the building. "

"The building was already on fire when I got there, I don't think I have super powers to walk straight into the house on fire without fire vest or something "

"You are trying to play smart with me agent Spencer and I think you should know better"

"So what are you insinuating, Do you think I set the building on fire and stood outside to watch it crumble to ashes"
