Nakasimangot akong bumaba sa hagdan. Napatingin sa akin si Donny.
"Si Penelope?" tanong ko.
"Sa taas, pinapatulog na si Akiro." sagot niya at uminom ng tubig sa baso. Kinuha ko ang bag ko at inayos ang aking suot.
"Just tell her that I already went home. I will just message her." I smiled.
He nodded, "I'll escort you."
Tumango ako at sinundan siya.
"Manong, ingat." sabi niya sa driver at tinapik ang kotse.
"Salamat!" sabi ko bago kami makaandar.
I am at the company today as usual, work. I am kinda busy today, because I still have unfinished works. Kahapon diba, kina Penelope ako nag-palipas ng oras. My parents were asleep when I went home. Sa susunod ko nalang siguro sasabihin ang plano kong pag-alis.
I picked up a call from Penelope.
"Alde! Alde!"she screamed. Nangunot ang noo ko at inilayo ang cellphone ko sa aking tainga.
"What?"
"I have chika..." aniya at humagikhik.
"What is it?"
"Oh my god. You won't believe this!"
"Ano nga? Peste ka, kanina ka pa salita ng salita diyan ni isa, wala ka pang naiku-kuwento." I said and rolled my eyes.
"Ganito kasi, oh my god, di ko alam kung paano ko sisimulan!" she screamed. Inilayo ko muli ang phone ko sa aking tainga. Why she gotta be so loud?!
"Stop screaming, stupid!"
"You know, if you were in my position, this will be your reaction too."
"Ano ba kasi iyan, ang aga—"
"He kissed me."
Nanlaki ang mata ko.
"Who? Travis?!" I screamed.
"See, you screamed too!" reklamo niya.
"What happened next? Don't tell me, both of you had sex?!"
Natahimik siya sandali. Napatayo ako. She gotta be kidding me!
"You guys did?!"
She laughed. "Of course not!"
I suddenly remembered when Russel kissed me at his condo. What the fuck! Nakalimutan ko na iyon, eh. Bakit naalala ko pa? That's disgusting! But, I must admit that he is a good kisser.
"What do you think of me? I told you, I've already moved on. Siyempre, I was shocked so I pushed him. Pero, I kinda like it naman. Hehehe,"
"Bitch!"
"But for real, I was shocked when he did it. Parang nasaktan lang ako kasi, after all this time, parang wala lang nangyari. Ang gago niya, Alde. Hindi na ako babalik,"
