: long chapter ahead.

"You really don't have to pick me up, everyday" I said getting into Ethan's car.

"It's just one of the duties of a loving boyfriend" he smiled helping my put on my seat belt .

I gasped when he pressed it too hard.

"Sorry, is it too tight?" He asks only inches away from my face. "Sorry about that" he fixed my seat belt and I got a sniff of his expensive cologne.

God! He smelt good. I bit my lips to suppress an unwanted moan.

"You good?" He asked and I nodded not trusting my voice.

"How'd you sleep?" He asked.

"Okay and you?"

"Not good, my bed was cold"

"You could have just wore a blanket"

"It wasn't a blanket that I wanted" he said eyeing me and then starting the car.

And yet again my cheeks welcomed another unwanted blush. I was looking out the window when I got a text from Sandy.

*Did you do your math homework?* the text read.

"Oh my God!" I exclaimed digging into my bag.

"What?" The car rapidly came to a stop and Ethan looked at me.

"I forgot to do my homework, I was just so tired yesterday I fell asleep as soon as I got there...Uhg!" I squeaked.

"Calm down, baby" Ethan said.

"How can I calm down, my math teacher, Mr Harris hates my guts and I always fail his subject and if he finds out I didn't do the homework then I'll go to principal's office and I might loose my scholarship and if I loose my scholarship then I won't graduate and if I don't graduate then I might as well be dead, who in the world would accept a--"

I was stopped by lips being pressed against mine. Ethan was kissing me! I found my anger and nervousness being blown away and I closed my eyes savoring the moment. His lips were so soft and cold. It was like the perfect match. I moaned when he cupped my face.

"Fuck, I've been wanting to do that since I saw you in the diner" he smiled as he gave me another kiss.

Things were getting heated and his kiss had me breathing heavily.

"Don't!" I pushed him away when his hands found their way under my shirt.

"Sorry...and I can help with the homework" I couldn't read his expression.

I couldn't tell if he was pissed or trying to calm himself from my rejection. It's not that I wanted to reject him, I didn't. I just didn't want him to see the scars.

I was not ready.

"Ethan, I..." I try to explain but he ignored me and started driving again.

"Ethan..." I try again when he parked in front of the school.

"Let's see your homework" he said instead.

I took my homework book, I doubt he knew math but who was I to judge?

"This seems easy enough" he said looking at my homework.

He took out a pencil and solved the math problems within five minutes.

"Okay, so here in the first equation you first had to factorize the equation as a whole and seek the two or one answers then you substitute it in the same equation if it'd give you the same answer to the equation which in our case is 3 and -5" he started explaining. "And in the second equation..." I stared at his lips as he spoke but I wasn't really listening.
