I saw Sandy sprint back in the Cafeteria. Honestly, I couldn't blame her...my bully was a really big guy. He looked more like a thug to me. I stood up a little shaky. His look contained so much hate. I closed my eyes and waited for the punch to come and it came harder than I could have imagined. I rubbed my cheek already feeling sore.
I opened my eyes and saw him go for another and I again I closed my eyes not attempting to fight, I grew tired of that, I waited for the impact. A second went by and I still was not punched. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Noah punching the guy to death and Sandy was standing next to me.
"Let's get you to the nurse's office." she said to me.
"He is killing him." I said as I saw we're surrounded and people were chanting "Fight! Fight! Fight!".
These people were sick.
"William, stop!" I shouted but he didn't listen, he kept punching the guy, he was in his own little world. "William, stop! Stop!" I screamed. "Noah..." I called. He stopped and looked back at me.
"You called me, Noah " he seemed hurt.
"Let him go." I said.
He held my bully with a death grip as he stared at me. He did not look like he was going to let him go soon. So I begged him to stop again the last thing I needed was him getting suspended on his first day because of me!
"Fine, hurt him again, I'll kill you." I heard him threaten the bully before letting him go.
The guy stumbled, fell back and ran away, out of sight.
"What? What's so fascinating? Because I know someone getting beaten up is not it!" He shouted and the crowd scattered away. "Fucking idiots." he muttered.
"William." I scolded.
"Sorry, are you okay?" His face softened as he touched my cheek. "It's bad, if you don't put some ice on it." he said softly.
"Nothing I'm not used to." I shrugged.
"I'm sorry, Sunshine." he kissed my forehead.
"It's Okay." I backed away then the bell rang.
He treated me like a girl sometimes like I would break as soon as I got a scratch. It was so annoying I wasn't a baby he did not need to protect me all the freaking time.
"You need to go to the nurse's office." Sandy pleaded.
"Fine." I nodded.
"I'll come too." Noah said.
"No, you need to go to class, William you're a senior." I said and he frowned but nodded then left.
"He is scary when he is mad." Sandy said.
"You should see him when he is hungry." I joked and Sandy laughed.
"Are you Okay?" She asked getting all serious.
"Yeah, I'm good thanks for calling him." I smiled at her and she smiled.
We walked to the nurse's office and as usual Mrs Grace, the nurse, greeted me with a huge smile on her face. Yep, I knew her name. This place was practically the second place I'd be found in apart from the library.
"Hello, Jeremy." the nurse said.
"Hello, Mrs Grace." I said.
"What did those monsters do to you now?" she said scanning me face.
"One punch nothing more." I said with a smile.
"I'll give you ice to stop it from swelling up...Hello, Sandy." Mrs Grace said.
