I have always liked car rides. Something about them always gave me a sense of adventure maybe it's because of how fast the surroundings would disappear and then suddenly I'm at a new location.
But Noah never really liked car rides. He always described them as eternal suffering but he was never really good with time and one of his traits was impatient-ness so he was clearly oblivious.
"Why are we passing the hotel if the wedding is there?" I asked Ben as the car passed the huge hotel.
It kind of looked like it was made of gold. Was Ben's sister really getting married there? Was she rich or something?
"Because the wedding is at the hotel but we are not staying there." Ben said eating a green jelly bean from the jar.
It was quite a sight watching him pick every color except the red ones. His facial expression every time he ate one was priceless. He looked like a three year old who got the gift he was nagging about.
"Then where are we going stay?" I asked amused.
"At Ariel's husbands house." He said avoiding eye contact with me.
"Oh, so all guests are staying there also or...we're the lucky ones?"
"Not everyone is staying there..." he chuckled at my lack of knowledge? "Sandy and Noah's family are close to Ariel so Ariel invited them to stay at her husband's house."
Why does he keep refering to his sister by her first name? Is it me or does he seem to distaste talking about her?
"Oh okay." I nodded.
It took us another hour to get to Ariel's husband's house...let's call it a mansion to be precise.
"Wow." I gasped when I saw the house.
I started looking from the bottom, the exquisite rose bushes that gracefully surronded the mansion and opened up a brick way to walk into. Then I gradually looked up to find intimidating tall walls with big and numerous windows staring up at me. I almost fell trying to find the very top. As breathtaking as the mansion was, it did seem a little to big and lonely like those hunted mansions you see on television.
"I know, It's nice." Sandy said casually as we got out of the van.
"Nice? No. Breathtaking? Yes." I said looking around.
"I knew you'd love it." She giggled.
"So this is Ariel's husband's house?" I asked looking at her.
She smiled a little she looked like she had taken a nap. That's why I didn't hear her bickering with Ethan. I was wondering why it was so quiet.
"Yeah, his parent's left this place for him in their will before they died." She explained.
"Oh." I couldn't help but feel sad for him but at least he had a chance to meet his parents so that must have been nice. "What's his name?"
"Joshua Daniel Heck." She replied.
"Okay, now kids let's take out the luggage and get them to our rooms..." Lindy starts.
"There's no need for that Lindy, the servants will do it." A beautiful lady with green eyes just like Ben and long brown hair in a black formal dress said as she approached us.
I'm guessing that's Ariel.
"Ariel, it's nice to see you again. How's the baby?" Lindy asked giving Ariel a hug.
Oh so she was pregnant.
"The baby is just fine." Ariel said patting her flat tummy, I guess she is maybe a week or two pregnant.

Comédie"Did you do it?" I asked when he turned around. "Do what?" "You know what." I shot back. "Cutie, there are a lot of things I did and do, you got to be more specific." he looked back at me and I realised he was being sincere and he was not really ta...
