Friday came faster than a racing tiger. Is that a thing? Do people say that kind of stuff? I don't know...all I knew is that Friday came in really fast.

Days had passed and I was seeing Ethan more often in school, he was giving me sideway glances and winks.

I considered Sandy more than a friend now, she was now like my second best friend. It was kind of weird how her and I got along so well. And of course, Noah was still being Noah.

"I'll buy it for you, relax." Noah said when the lunch lady asked me to pay for my lunch.

"No, William, I can buy my own lunch. I have the money." I argued.

I can't believe we were arguing about who was going to buy my lunch in front of the lunch lady. Why did he have to be difficult? I just wanted to pay and go eat already!

"I never said you don't, Sunshine, just let me buy you the God damn lunch." he argued.

"Oh will you two shut it? I'll pay." Sandy said giving the money to the lunch lady who looked relieved she didn't have to keep watch us argue.

"Sandy--" I started.

"Nope, already done, let's go." she walked ahead.

With a huff I followed her pushing Noah away from me. I sat next to Sandy and Noah sat on my other side.

"William, go away, please."

"Sunshine--"

"Go." I said.

"You know I hate it when you do this"

"Oh and I thought you love it." I said sarcastically.

"Yep, because you totally think I love would the fact that you talk to me pile of trash." he shot back.

"William, would you just--"

"Shut up...shut it, you guys are really starting to sound like a old married couple...I don't know why you are even fighting." Sandy groaned.

"Well, he started it." I said.

"Nuh uh, you started it"

"But--"

"Shut up!" Sandy exclaimed again.

"Fine." Noah and I both said.

I grab a sandwich and was about to bite it down when Noah snatched it and ate it. I glared at him and before I could speak Sandy looked at me and said:

"Don't even dare."

I huffed and grabbed another sandwich not missing the smirk Noah had on. He was sometimes which is most of the times a toad.

"What's up with the smirk, Noah?" I asked innocently.

He flinched when I called him Noah and stood up and left. I smirked and ate my lunch. I knew he hated it when I called him by Noah but hated it when others called him William.

Boys are weird.

"You guys literally suck the fun out of lunch." Sandy said disapprovingly.

I didn't think anyone could suck the fun of eating good but apparently according to Sandy, me and Noah did that.

"He started it." I shrugged.

"Ugh, anyway good news," she smiled. "My boyfriend is coming here this weekend," she squealed and I couldn't help but squeal with her. "I want you to meet him."she offered.

"I...no...I wouldn't wanna steal your quality time with him."

I knew Sandy's boyfriend, Ben, was a collage student meaning him and Sandy did not spend that much time together. Why would I want to take away their quality time?

Why me? (bxb) {Editing}Where stories live. Discover now
