Seeing old friends

Río's pov:
I woke up and realized what I said yesterday to Saiki.
IT WAS SO HUMILIATING.
'AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH WHY DID I EMBARRASS MYSELF IN FRONT OF HIM.'

Wait why am I so worried about what he thinks? Oh wait.
Nevermind.

After I got dressed my older brother knocked on my door.
This is just how Río was dressed:

"Breakfast is ready"
After jumping all of the stairs and almost hitting my head on the roof I sat down with my family.

"Morning"
"Buenos días pequeño"
"Morno Y/n"
"Hey Pequeño how way your first day, sorry I couldn't pick you up"

"It was fine I made some friends. Hey Kai why did you want to pick me up anyways? You never do that"

"Wow am I not allowed to care for my baby brother?"
"You're only 2 years older then me,"
"Ok,so?"
Then my eldest brother walked in.

"Buenos días Ray"
"Look who's finally awake"
"Kai,don't be childish at the table" my father piped in.
"Aw man but it's fun"

'How the hell are you older then me?'

Ray sat down with the rest of us while my mom served us breakfast.
"Gracias ma"
"Make sure to eat all of it or you'll have to do the dishes, oh and before I forget I need you boys to go grocery shopping"
'Why can't they just go I planned on play animal crossing all day'

"Why can't they just go?"
"I wanted you to go as well because I want you make some sweets for your class,"

'Don't get me wrong I love cooking but for my whole class? My mom said I have to so might as well'

"Alright ma" I said defeated
My mom had a list of things we needed to buy.
'This might take a while'

Then I had a great idea. I wonder if I still those roller skates.
I walked into the garage and rummaged for them in the boxes.
I let out a gasp but then I started coughing because I inhaled to much.

"I FOUND THEM"
Apparently my brothers also had theirs, so it would be way be way more fun. I'd be a liar if I said I didn't feel cool as shit.
My mom handed me a few bags because she hated the bags the store had.

I closed my eyes as the breeze that hit my face, it reminded me of when I was a child. Man, what fun I had. Even just going up and down the ghetto as neighborhood was relaxing.
It was as if I was in my own little world.

I couldn't hear my brothers that were calling my name saying that I had missed the store. But after a while I stopped only to realize I had zoned out and I was lost.
'Aw shit'

I looked around to find any street signs.None.Fuck. I backed up trying retrace my steps but I had bumped into someone.
"Oh my Hajime, I'm so sorry-"
"Río? Is that you?"

I looked up and yup it was Toritsuka.
"HOLY SHIT NO WAY"
"Yup It's me"

Can't believe I got to see one of my greatest friends again.
"Dude how's the Ríos?"
"I mean we just moved here so pretty good"
"Good to hear- WAIT HERE!?"

"Um yeah?"
"WAIT WHAT SCHOOL DO YOU GO TO!?"

I could see the surprise hit him then I realized we went to the same school.
After catching up I told him I was absolutely lost.
