setting up her restaurant for business in liyue harbor, y/n didn't put much thought to this daily routine. she hummed a light relaxing tune. today was just another normal day.

right?

back on her spot as the waiter of the wanmin restaurant in liyue, she quickly got ready to serve her first guests. on the first few hours of business, she served a lot of local residents who came for early tea and chats.

wanmin restaurant was very busy on every hour of business. it's the most visited shop in liyue. y/n didn't mind the noisy background at all. she was focused on her task of delivering dishes and taking orders.

everything was going smoothly. she didn't mess up any orders, nor took too long to deliver them. she, as a proud waiter of wanmin restaurant, made sure that everyone had something to eat.

as the lunch hour closes in, the population of the restaurant grew and grew. the residents began to crowd outside as the seats are full inside of the restaurant. y/n tried her best to keep up her pace, but the guests became more demanding. she started to struggle a little. there was strangely more guests today.

amidst her orders that are piling up and dishes that needed to be delivered, she didn't notice a orange-haired boy making his way through the crowd and into the restaurant. he ignored the shouts of protest from the people, booing him for cutting in the line. somehow, they were silenced.

y/n couldn't care less. she had to finish these orders as soon as possible.

as the boy with orange hair walked in, y/n pretended not to see him. he would walk out a few minutes later anyways. at least that was what y/n thought.

the boy scanned through the tables. he saw one of the guests asking for bill. he walked over to the guest.

"hey there!"

"hello..?"

"are you asking for the bill?"

"uh.. yes. anything you need?"

"i'll pay it for you if you let me sit here."

"excuse me, what?"

the boy hmphed.

"i'm the eleventh harbinger, stationed at liyue! let me sit on your seat and i'll pay the bill for you!"

he flashed a menacing look.

"do you dare to disobey the fatui?"

the poor local was so scared. he quickly got up and let the boy sit.

"thank you! don't worry about your bill and keep the change!"

the boy smiled and dropped a pouch of mora into the guest's hands. it was triple the amount of the bill. the guest nodded quickly and scurried away.

the boy sat down on the seat. the money that he handed over for free is the least of his concerns right now.

raising his hand up, he waited for y/n to take his order.
