Allison had dropped Rosie home after hours of shopping although Lydia did most of it. Instead of driving away Allison followed Rosie in as she said she wanted to speak to Scott. Rosie led her to Scotts room and knocked for her before going into her own room.
Once in her room she got changed into her pajamas and sat herself in bed, watching some crappy Netflix show just to pass the time and to stop her from the realization that she needs to do homework. There was a knock on her bedroom door and once opened revealed her mother looking all nice and dressed up.
"Now where are you going dressed like that young lady." Rosie mimicked her mother as she paused the tv show. "No seriously where you going?"
"I may or may not have a date with a medical rep." Almost instantly Rosie shot up and hugged her mother. She knew how long it had been since she went out let alone a date. "Okay okay, don't smudge my makeup. How do I look is it too much?"
"Mom you look hot. But wait stay there a minute." The doorbell downstairs went and echoed through the house. "Scott can you get that, mum will be down in a minute."
Melissa watched her daughter rummage around her room as she went looking for something important. After the room was a mess she finally came back with an expensive looking necklace. A necklace which Rosie spent just over a year saving up for. It had a beautiful jewel at the center which in the perfect light looked like a dream.
"Oh no I cant wear that, its yours."
"Mom stop. You deserve it." The necklace was placed over Melissas head as Rosie began to do it up for her. "You deserve this night too. Go enjoy yourself and don't do anything I wouldn't do."
"Hey missy we will be needing to have a chat if you're talking about what I think you're talking about."
"You're gonna be late go." She ushered her mother as she almost pushed her to go downstairs. "Goodbye beautiful."
After saying goodbye to her mother she went back to her room, back to the crappy tv show. Because it was so bad her eyes fluttered as they begun to grow heavy until she finally gave in and closed them.
Not even 1 hour later she was awoken from her slumber by Allison who had came and stood by her bed. Rosie noticed that she wore a solemn expression and looked rather upset.
"I didn't mean to wake you it's just he said he will be right back."
"Well, I needed to get up anyway." She patted the bed so Allison could sit. "How long ago did he say that then?"
"Its that obvious?" Allison moved herself so she was under the covers beside Rosie.
"You wouldn't come in my room and look upset if he had only just gone downstairs to get some chips."
"After your mum left so did he. Said he would be right back but I'm still waiting." The brunette shrugged as she looked more upset than angry. "He said it was something really important but I don't know."
"I don't know if you know this but I've known Scott for many years." Both girls smiled and Allison's face lit up. "So, trust me when I tell you that if he says that something is important then something is important, okay?"
From inside her pocket her phone buzzed. Before looking at it she smiled at Rosie, thanking her for cheering her up. Looking at her phone she then got up and out of bed.
"Its my aunt. Ive got to do. Tell Scott..."
"Oh don't worry Ill tell him alright." Following Allison, she too got out of bed and led her out her bedroom door before closing it after her. Once Allison had left, Rosie picked up her phone which was on her bedside table and found that she had missed calls from Stiles. There were also messages he left her, such as 'Your mums on a date with the alpha.'
