"How does he act around you?" Lydia asked Rosie, the two of them walking down the corridor for their class together.

"Like hes hiding something. I don't know... I might just be overthinking things." She excused her thoughts and dismissed them as if she was wrong to think these things.

"No. Whenever a girl thinks they are overthinking, they are always not. So what do you think hes hiding?"

"I don't know to be honest. Sometimes I have this horrible feeling like he regrets it. Like he regrets me or telling me he liked me but I don't know." Her hand filtered through her hair uncomfortably as she took a large breath.

"I don't think he regrets it. I saw the way he looked at you before. It was full of love trust me. No one looks at someone that way if they will later regret liking you. That look is not temporary." Lydia comforted her during a time in which she needed reassuring. Obviously, this reassurance wasn't from the man himself but it was the next best thing.

Rosie smiled gratefully at her best friend who had kept her hopes up for the relationship between her and Stiles. Whatever that is. "Are you coming to the game tonight?"

"I have the best plan." Her smile widened at Rosies questioned which did not answer her question but that didn't matter to neither girls at Lydias sudden outburst. "If you think he's regretting it, why don't you show him what he would regret if he lost you."

"Um I'm not following you."

"Why don't I give you a huge makeover so you would look so much better." Although she spoke passionately, Rosie couldn't help but roll her eyes at another fashion excuse for Lydia to have fun with and the halfhearted compliment she gave her.

"Lydia, it's a lacrosse game. You know with mud flying around. Not the perfect place to have a catwalk. Thanks anyway." She began walking away but Lydia grabbed her elbow and spun her round.

"I have these leather leggings I bought at Macys last weekend. You have to wear them. They will look so good on you, plus they're warm. I know its just a stupid high school game but I can still do your hair and makeup. Please."

The girls begging got to Rosie so she agreed to it and was willing to allow Lydia to go to town on Rosies looks like she was a rag doll and Lydia was a child. As she agreed to it, Rosie realized that she was doing this more for Lydia than she was for herself because, ever since Jackson, Lydia hadn't been the same.

Rosie sat in Lydias car, her leather pants squeaking against the leather seats but other than that, they were amazing. To her surprise, the trousers fit perfectly and they didn't need to get a shoe horn to put them on, and they looked rather good on. Obviously this was not the only thing she had on.

With the pants, she wore a black shaggy fur jacket that Lydia had begged her mum to buy but never worn and then kindly gifted it to Rosie. She also wore a black long sleeved fitted top, tucked into the trousers with her black converse. In the mirror she didn't see herself, she saw Sandy from Grease and she wasn't that mad about it.

Of course her hair matched the aesthetic with curly hair but it was not as tight as it was in the classic movie but hung over her shoulders, the length nearly touching her hips.

Once the car was securely in the smallest spot possible for Lydia to find, Rosie hopped out the car and prepared herself for the odd looks which would wonder why a girl was so dressed up for a muddy lacrosse game. The two headed, arm in arm like a stereotypical pair of friends, to the bleachers.

Sweaty boys were scattered around the pitch, yelling at their defense or at the huge abomination of a teenage boy who was obliterating half of the Beacon Hills lacrosse team. As they walked over Rosie saw that Stiles was once again on the bench beside coach and her brother was out on the field, getting stick from Jackson.

"What are you waiting for?" Lydia asked, her eyes widening at Rosie who stood at the side line, not moving.

"Im not gonna go to him. Not now anyway. He could get called up to play."

"Really? Its Stiles we are talking about here. Hes not gonna get called up to play." She took her seat as she laughed at Rosie excusing herself from going up to him first, making the first move.

"Hey." Her arm playfully slapped Lydias while she too took a seat on the cold metal bleachers. "He can be really good."

"Yeah sure." They then watched the game which had turned extremely violent through cringing and half closed eyes. Half of the team had spent more time lying on the ground than standing on their feet. "Rosie, that kid is taking pictures of you."

Lydias gloved hand pointed towards Matt, a boy in their school year, who was holding a camera and aiming it in the direction of the two girls. He was stood beside Rosies mother who too had caught on to what he was doing.

"No hes not. Hes taking pictures of the team. Im pretty sure hes the photographer." Again she excused someone who she didn't actually know what their motives were. "Jacksons looking this way though."

"I gotta go." Grabbing her bag, Lydia wandered off back to her car, abandoning Rosie at the sudden mention of her ex boyfriend. It was too much to handle, seeing him looking at her in a crowd full of people.

Peeling her eyes off of Lydias retreating body, Rosie looked to Stiles who had now moved in the direction of Allison and her grandfather. This was the time to go see him after not seeing him for a day. Removing herself from the bleachers she followed Stiles into the parking lot of the school and then into the school itself.

He was creeping in front of her, trying not to be seen by anyone of higher authority, so she reciprocated and tried even harder so he wouldn't notice her. From behind the corner of a wall, she watched him enter and rummage through drawers, grunting in frustration. Rosie walked up to the open doorway and once he looked up he jumped and began stuttering.

"Hey- Rosie- wow you look- wow. Did I say- you- wow."

She bit her bottom lip as she tried not to blush and burst out laughing at his reaction. Yes she expected a reaction out of him but not this. So Rosie being Rosie, she had to think of the best thing to say back to him. And it was perfect for this situation.

"Tell me about it stud."
