You cleaned around, sighing, as you just finished. "Its just a stupid guy I just happened to like... why should I care? All he does is act all high and mighty. I don't understand. I'm better than this." You quietly murmured, not noticing that Arlo and Nora stepped in. Packing your things up, you threw the commission on Arlo's desk, huffing a little, upset. You turned around, seeing Nora and Arlo. He was holding her waist, as she was wearing his jacket.

"(Name)! Did you already finish repairing the pipes? I guess it's time to pay you." Arlo asked, smiling. You simply nodded. "Here love, go take a warm bath, I'll bring you home later." Arlo said, smiling lovingly, as Nora giggled, nodding. "I'll see you later handsome." She replied leaving. "Such an angel she is." Arlo said. That stupid smile. That horrible feeling erupted again. This time, it was anger. "I don't need your stupid money." You snapped all of a sudden.

Arlo looked shocked. His eyes widened a little. "What? Are you okay (name)?" He asked suddenly worried. "Okay? Okay?! God, your that clueless aren't you? You never pay attention! Heck, you don't even care! You and your all mighty captain title makes girls and guys fall for you, left and right! You want to be a hero, and suddenly started dating Nora, only because it makes you feel that way!" You yelled, tears running again, from the anger.

"Not everyone here needs a stupid prince, to save them! Not everyone is a Damsel in distress, waiting for their prince charming! Why?! Just why?!" You said angrily. "I don't know what you're talking about-" arlo tried to reason, trying to calm you down. "Don't even try it. I always thought you wanted someone to venture with. Travel with. Not some stupid stay home spouse waiting for their prince so they can serve them. That's all you want. I don't even know why I wanted to date you." You said, leaving. "(Name)! Wait, please, I-" Arlo said, trying to reach you. "Goodbye Arlo. Don't expect me to help you anymore." You said, eyes watery, shutting the door. "(Name)..." He quietly said, shocked by the events.

"He's so selfish... not every girl or guy can be like Nora.." you quietly whispered. Walking down the hill through the rain, sighing quietly. You made it home, going to take a quick hot shower, before going to your room. The sword rack in the corner suddenly caught your attention. "I don't need a prince to come save me. I'll show them. Arlo is long gone from my head now. We're done." You said, looking into the mirror, before sharpening your sword.

The next day, the mayor was having a urgent meeting in the town square. You decided to wear some dark color boots, a white shirt, leather pants, hip and thigh pouches, and a thin leather jacket. You placed the weapon holder on your back, and some gloves. You rolled your sleeves. "New style, New me." You said proudly, leaving, taking your horse with you. "Good morning everyone! I first like to apologize for this early meeting, and announce that there have been some mysterious creatures roaming around our town." Gale said, as the crowd gasped, bickering quietly.

"Its only a matter of time, before a serious injury can happen, so, I'm leaving the builders and the civil corps up to the case." Gale announced, as everyone cheered. "You may all have yourself a good day, and be on the look out." Gale announced. You and Higgins met up with the mayor. "There you two are!" Gale said. "Good morning sir." Higgins said, as you just nodded. "Now, let's discuss plans. Since you and Higgins seemed to be the only reliable builders here, we need to start the big gate projects." Gale said. You nodded, as you suddenly felt Arlo starring at you.

"We need one builder in Portia, and another one to join the corps on the investigation." Gale explained. "Higgins can have the project." You sudden said. Your rival and Gale looked shocked. "Okay then... here's the map to Atara for the investigation, since it seems to be the source." Gale said. "Yes sir." You said. "Arlo will also be joining you, while Sam and Remington stay here." Gale said. "But sir-" Remington was about to say. "No. We need you here. (Name) can take care of this. Including Arlo." The mayor said. Remington sighed, nodding. "Let's go." You simply said, leaving.
