It was another day of the month, and another month of the year. You wanted more ever since your adventures in Portia started. Some of the towns folk suggested finding some love, or even dating Arlo! It was ridiculous to even think about dating him. No one had seem to caught your eye until you met... Him. Mint. The new addition to the mayor's family. Your heart skipped a beat, everytime you saw him. You loved his dark messy hair, you love how deep his voice is when he wakes up, how his eyes just shimmer when he sees things he likes. You blushed, shoving those thoughts away.
You began to work again as you brushed your hair out of your face. Sighing at your earlier thoughts, you went to deliver your commissions. You walked down the dirt road, still thinking. Would Mint have the same feelings back? It was like bitter sweet love. You finally delivered your commissions, taking the money in your hands. "You seem beat. What's up?" Emily asked as she was sitting up on a tree branch. You looked up, quite surprised. "I'm having those lovey dovey thoughts again... And I don't know how to get rid of them." You said, brushing your hair off your face. Emily helped you up next to her. "He's your friend right? Why won't you just confess?" Emily asked. You sighed once more. "Isn't wrong to be in love WITH your best friend?" You asked. "Of course not! Or... Depends how you put it (name)." Emily explained. You just simply nodded, lowering your gaze. "I... Thank you. I'll confess... Worst case is... He just rejects me." You said. Emily nods hugging you. "I only wish for the best sweets." Emily said. You nodded, getting off. You went inside your comfy home, plopping on your made bed. "Why was the thought of confessing... So... Difficult? You sighed, getting up to bathe yourself.
The next day, you decided to have a break for yourself. You were going to confess. No matter what. Slipping on a light blue crop top, a small white skirt, and black flats, you smiled, observing your outfit in the mirror. You brushed out your soft locks, placing a flower pin to clip up some loose hair. You left your home, going into town. You saw a lot if people gaping at your outfit. It was your first time wearing something like this after all. "Hey (Name)! Today's the day! Wanna go grab some breakfast before um... You-know-what.?" Emily asked. You nodded smiling. "Your outfit is gorgeous by the way." Emily commented. You blushed. "Thanks!" You said, heading to the round table. You saw Mint. You gaped at him, adoring his looks. Emily chuckled, pulling you in a booth. After eating, you saw Mint walk over to your table. "Hey (Name). I was wondering if you want to go hang for the day." Mint asked shyly. You nodded blushing. "Sure." You said. He went out the door, outside Portia. You both sat on the fuzzy grass. "It's pretty out here. Isn't it?" You asked observing the clear sky. "Yeah... It really is." Mint said looking at you. He blushed looking at your features. "I have to tell you something. I like you-" Mint and You said both holding heart knots. You blushed. Mint laughed. "I guess that makes the two of us." Mint replied, kissing your cheek. You giggled a little, hugging him. "I guess it does." You replied. He took the heart, and you took his. "I love you."
