"Happy Holidays!" Mint X Reader

"Happy Solstice everyone! I hope you enjoy the festivities and the spicy food!" Gale says as everyone cheered and clapped.

"I can't wait to eat. Im starving." You said clapping after the mayor's speech. Mint turned to you adjusting your scarf.

"Well it's my first Solstice ever since I moved here. So I'm not sure about the spicy food." Mint says as he looked at everyone throwing food items in the huge pot.

"Don't worry Minty. It's gonna be great. The food is spicy but delicious." you said as you held his hand.

Mint smiled cutely. "Whatever you say." He says looking at the atmosphere of the town.

Tody was tossing a fish into the bowl, while Albert tossed a piece of meat. "Ooooo this is going to be super spicy!" Exclaimed Sonia as Antoine agreed.

The Hulu brothers were stand in a small group talking, laughing, and eating the hot pot.

There were tables set up in the central plaza as everyone sat around their own tables eating and enjoying the tasty hot pot.

You and Mint sat on the bench, while you were holding a bowl of the spicy soup.

Gust and Albert sat together while Gust's family while Antoine, Emily, and Sonia sat together.

You took a small sip from your bowl. "Wow..spicy.." you said. "Wanna try some?" you asked offering it to Mint.

"I guess. Hope this keeps me warm." Mint says taking a big gulp. "Wait you should first just take a small -" But it was too late. Mint didn't take a small sip. He took a whole mouthful.

"OH GOD-" he exclaimed handing you the bowl fast while opening a bottle of milk (when eating something spicy drink milk. Water makes it worst. Really it does.) to drink.

You laughed as he drained the whole bottle, not leaving a single drop. "Better?" you asked.

"Much.." he replies sticking his tounge out so the air would cool his burns. You giggled and patted his back.

"At least you tried it. Very proud." you said hugging him. "Mhm." he says drooling at this point.

"C'mon. Lets go home. I'm done eating that for the day. "Same here." He says taking his scarf off. "I'm never eating that again."

You giggled. You held hands with him as you walked home enjoying the snow. By the time you guys got inside, Mint complained that his lips were numb.

You knew he just wanted a kiss so you decided to play hard to get.

"Why won't you put some ice on it? I'm sure it will help." You said plopping on the couch.

Mint frowned. "But I'm sire there is something else that can help." "and what is that?" you said as he sat in a chair across from you.

"A kiss?" He says with puppy eyes. "What if I said no?" You replied. He got up and sat next to you.

"Well you can't. There is a mistletoe right there." He says pointing up at the ceiling.

You looked up. He was right. There was one right above you and Mint. You rolled your eyes and smirked. You grabbed his shirt and kissed him passionately.
